Class D Amp Photo Gallery

That came out very nice. Are both of those power supplies needed? Could you get away with a single rated for both?

With this dual configuration of this board do they run completely independent with each left and right mono balanced input? Or do the boards have a dual mono audio processor on them to help speaker audio out put stay perfectly in time?

Any photos of these other side of the boards?

Got my attention. Thanks for sharing.

Hi
This question is for who ??

Here is my latest project. The VU/Power meters work but they need about 80w to really get moving. The power switch and volume are connected. I have updated the speaker terminals. Inside is a 48vdc 400w smps, 240v relay for the smps, RaspberryPi 3B+, Scarlett Solo gen3 balanced DAC and a 3eAUDIO TPA3255 with an opamp bypass.

I think it looks and sounds great. I would like the power meters to work differently so they worked off the source, just moving to the music even at low volume.

Be careful with the Focusrite. I have an 2i2 that I tried as a two channel Preamp/Dac. By default it's setup to be mono, and you can only change that with the software.

Daniboun the question was for you. I thought I quoted you.

Thanks for chiming in.

The IDEA was to setup a symmetrical double Mono amplifier.
Originally I wanted to mount the amplifier with a single LLC 25V PSU 300W (splited) = 2X25V / 150W per board.

But I finally setup the amplifier with 2 independant PSU 24V / 150W + 2 independant Merus boards. Both PSU options work fine !
Amplifier is absolutely dead silence and noiseless.

I got the cheaper Solo. It is definitely stereo and sounds totally different to the Khadas Tone Board. I also made some changes to the amp (bypassed everything up to the blocking caps including opamps) so I can’t really compare the Scarlett to the KTB. My setup has much better mids and bass now while playing flat. Trying to setup a RaspberryPi NAS drive for my music at the moment which is a headache.
