Yeh, I must say I do have some sympathy 😀 It can be annoying having to skim through loads of pages of writing to find the pictures 😉
In your profile setting, somewhere you can set the amount of posts per page. Put it on maximum, i think 50 or 100 or so, for me, this last page of this gallery is page #57
And get a logitech mouse where the scroll wheel is smooth, not clicking, you can give it a push and your sliding down all the way 😀
I find that looking through the thread to see the replies and explanations really interesting. If you want to save a particular post click on its number it will open in a new window or tab and CTRL+D will bookmark it.

Standard chipamp build. Trafos are 2x160vA each 2x22v audio grade from Toroidy.pl. they are very quiet.
I don't know yet if the copper heatsink will be enough but until now the chips haven't heated up much at normal listening levels.
The sound is very punchy with powerful and tight bass in to a pair of KEF LS50's

If the copper bar is bolted / screwed to the bottom of the chassis that will be PLENTY.

Nice build! I agree with troystg that if that copper is thermally tied into the base material you will be fine. Even if it isn't since you have airflow holes top and bottom you will probably get good convection through the case over the heatsink. Best way to find out is to put on some of your favorite albums with good low end presence, crank it up and listen for an hour or two 😉
Will do 😀 ! The copper bar is bolted to the 6mm base with 4 screws. The base gets a little warm so there is some heat transfer going on .. Thanks for your reassuring comments !
Warm = OK, hot = OK, egg frying = bad. The spike protection circuitry will keep you amp safe regardless and if you hear it kick in (i've never gotten mine to even with some serious abuse) then you could always put an aluminum finned heatsink in its place without having to rework your chassis. You should be fine though, enjoy the wonderful clarity and dynamic range of your new best friend!

Sound well, but not so quiet, a little noisy..
I use it with PC and "poor" 8 Ohm speakers, so it's not a big problem for me.
It's very cheap, and if I were to build a new LM3875 I would choose Chipamp or Audiosector kit..

Yep, I finished the chipamp. My build weighs a ton 😀 Next, I plan to build a Peter Daniel amp with the exact same layout and compare the two. I'll reduce the thickness of the lower "L" part of the chassis to 3mm (currently 6) to bring the weight down a little 😱
The sound is great. I can only compare it to a modified Quad 306 which has been my reference amp. I think the chipamp compares very favorably but the soundstage is much larger / wider and also better defined.. probably because of the dual mono layout ? but that is just my 2 cts.
I like the compactness of your amp. I would also use it as my office system in place of a SMSL SA50. I think I have a pot lying around somewhere so I could use that in the build. Can you reveal the ref of the chassis ? What is the "thing" you connected between the mains cable and the transformer ? Thank's.
