First one is a simple mono board, second one "can be configured" to mono according to the advert. Yet I don't know of anyone who has done it.
The first one is the "Sanwu blue TPA3118". Quite a lot of discussion of them in this topic.
I have 4 of them and they exhibit massive thump-pop under certain circumstances.... On first power up without the source first having been powered. Also a minor pop on shutdown.
There are other dedicated TPA3116 mono amps out there. From what I've seen of eBay, they all have heatsinks... Which implies greater power capability than the TPA3118 boards as they are supplied.

I've configured on Sanwu Red/Orange TPA3116 as a mono board to drive a sub. It is simple and works.
Hi ,
our TPA3116/18 standalone amp is ready.
http://www.allo.com/marketing/brochures/allo-volt-plus-brochure.pdf
It has all mods incorporated...in adition we have a capacitance multiplier on board that will allow any "crappy" psu to be less than 10mV (since psrr of tpa3118 its mediocre at best)
We are looking for 5 people to try "free of charge" the amp , provided that you are very active on diy forums and you can show you have an interest in tpa3116/18 amps
We only request unbiased review on SQ of our amp.

FCC tested and approved?
Me too, please
Put me on the free list. Would love to compare to my other non modified 3116 and 3118 boards as well as 8932. Afraid to try modding myself as I easily make bricks!

We are not targeting everyone...only if it makes sense.
i am not interested because i neither like what i see in the link nor the price tag.
"Worth" inductors?
How about "Würth" inductors?
wasn't that the pascal dude, who, you could call by name or by value?
LOL
Price seems good to me, i'll probably get one down the road a bit. Thanks for making it, cdsgames!
Thx Dug for pointing it out. We will correct it.

I would like to know about the snubber too.
BTW. I "modded" mine. Lowered gain and added 1000uF to the input terminal.
