The web site is up and running and here were the most info is currently on: http://www.specializedkits.com/integrated-amp.html

At the bottom you'll find a link to an order form, fill it out and send it to me. I will reply with payment info. Any suggestions for improvements are welcome.

The difference between finished and unfinished chassis is only $15, so I will not be supporting unfinished version.

A family emergency requires me to head back home, and I'll be away starting Saturday evening through Wednesday afternoon.

Peter,

I'm almost ready to order but have a question about the AC inlets.

Looking at the Digikey catalog I see part Q204 refers to figure 2 which looks like it has an integrated fuse? Did you change the IEC inlet?

The reason I ask is that I have some Acme IEC inlets and fuses and I am wondering if they are going to fit:

No big deal either way, I just need to know what to order.

Thanks, Bill

The cutout in a rear panel will be made specifiacally for this receptacle. It is integrated with a fuse and I noticed that type is used by many hi-end companies (Rowland, Naim, Lamm). You might use similar product, but make sure it fits the opening or make a note that no AC receptacle hole is required and install the one of your choice.

Looks great, Peter.

Several questions.

You mentioned an alternate arrangement with the mains receptacle and speaker posts (post #224). What is the final layout?

Does the mains receptacle with the integrated fuse posted above (#290) mean we no longer need a separate fuse holder?

Can we request drilling for the Cardas patented posts, or are we responsible for the extra mounting hole?

No complaints, but if I have to drill my own holes I'll have to lay off the Starbucks for a while... :grumpy:

Hey Peter,
How do you used the Noble pot or how do you wired them? Never seen or used them before? is like resistor
(10k..100k values)? and can we mount the pot inside your chassis without a mounting bracklet?
thanks

You wire those pots like any other. I don't know if the ones from Percy have a fourth pin, if they do, you don't use it. One pin to the input, one to the ground, center pin is output.
