Why write 0,000%? It could be 0,00099 which means that it is 0,001 really.
It is a simulation - and as such VERY uncertain - to play with decimals leaving the actual value out, pretending that it is 0 (?) is silly - nobody here is fooled by that - you must realise that. Be open - play no games.

I agree, completely. THD 10kHz might be interesting as well. Numbers below 0.001% must always be validated with a prototype. Otherwise it may get to 0.03% very easily. I know what I am speaking about.

Come on everyone lineup is just freestyling, cut him some slack, at least he was honest in post #1 putting out a clear disclaimer he's only simulating and not intending to build it. :)

Not rounded, but truncated.THD is rounded up or down for 3 decimals.

All that had completed simulate -> build-> measure circle, already know.
However, build execution can affect distortion result by order of magnitude (or two). Not to mention that Spice models are incomplete in comparison to the real components. You can be very close or very far with real circuit results. In example, my amplifier simulates as 0.00004 % at 1W/8Ω and latest measurement with improved and recalibrated gear is about 0.00007 %. This is not general measure how close to real life simulation is.
+ 4 or 5 more uncertainties inc. who measured and with what. In this case it isn't even a complete amp - power is missing.... just non-sense...

PCB design is an inseparable part of any electronic project. You add parasitic impedances, coupling impedances, voltage drops, EM capture. It all should belong to a simulation and it does with professional tools.However, build execution can affect distortion result by order of magnitude (or two)

I found this thread quiet interesting. I am not an electronics super guru like many here so I found it interesting - and I like to build amplifiers.
I was even tempted to try it out by quickly making a PCB with a small group of people and try it out. But when reading all those rude comments here, I think it is not worth. Probably a huge shitstorm is coming over me when I publish something. It is a pity that one of the last forums I always like(d) to visit is showing more and more harsh comments. Maybe I am getting too old. Sorry for the off topic. I am out.

I think it could be a nice little amp to build.
A simulation would need to be expanded to see how stable it is (open loop phase margin and gain margin),
perhaps zobel needs to be added, etc.., but it's definitely something that can be built, and it will work.
Actually, it's simple enough to build it on a breadboard, at least the 1st prototype.

I had a feeling U10 was going to end up in this circuit, the distortion would go down another 10 times, and the naysayers would show up quickly. I have to admit being afraid to build it myself but want to. It might be pretty nice with regulated supplies and 3 inches of wire between it and a tweeter coil.
