Cane juice machine may work better...

Bigger machines use a motor.
Generic picture, no ties to seller.

These are a cottage industry in some areas of India, so the maker puts his mark in the castings.
A search would turn up more than 500 makers, small to big....

Grab the head and grab the tail and just keep twisting. You have snakes in India, give it a try. Trust me, I read about it on the internet.

As a responsible moderator, you should stop posting half baked info from googling. There is a lot more to it.
What you get after wringing is just the crude stuff. After that, there is a whole lot of cracking / refining to
get snake oil - I left out the various demagnetization and degaussing steps along the way.

Has anyone tried demagnetising snake oil?

On a different note, if you go for an MRI they want to know about tattoos. Some of the ink can contain metal. They can get hot...
Oh, personally I regard tatoos and Piercings (anything that perforates our skin for no useful purpose) as a mild form of madness ... so if both Nuke out during an otherwise safe medical procedure, so be it.

A.K.A Karma.

And as expected it contains grossly wrong information, proudly printed on the can. 🙄

81abUKMcYWL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

In the French and Spanish label sections (hint: Metric) it states: 1 Quart,=1.136 litres

Proper conversion is: 1 Quart=0.936 litres

That gross size error alone is enough to have it pulled from shelves, of course.

Per FTC regulations, specifically:

Fair Packaging and Labeling Act: Regulations Under Section 4 of the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act

Basic Requirements: The FPLA requires each package of household "consumer commodities" that is included in the coverage of the FPLA to bear a label on which there is:

  • a statement identifying the commodity, e.g., detergent, sponges, etc.;
  • the name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor;
  • and the net quantity of contents in terms of weight, measure, or numerical count (measurement must be in both metric and inch/pound units).

Needless to say, Metric and Imperial must match!!!!! 😱

  • Unless Snake Oil is expressly exempted from any relations to Truth???
Also notice sellers call themselves: "Drainbrain" ... 🙄 😉

It´s very popular in Brazil, where it´s known as "Suco/Caldo de Cana"

I shudder at thinking about it, both for the sheer sugar shock and the tooth decay/destruction it must cause.

Special notes about diseases it can transmit (since they just press raw sugarcane from the fields, absolutely unprocessed),

In the Southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina there was a rash of parasitic Chagas disease, because sugarcane was the habitat of "kissing bugs"

Microscope sample is tinted blue, "donuts" are red blood cells, bugs swimming around them are the disease makers.

Ugh!!!

I use snake oil everyday for the hip joints, knees and ankles. All I can tell, it has extraordinary penetrating and soothing properties. After a drop of application, it is always like a miracle.

Don't tell me snake oil does not work! 😡

well of course an imperial quart and an american quart are different. that is an imperial quart.
Thanks, I stand corrected

In any case, what a mess US/Imperial measurements are:

1 quart= 946mL
1 imperial quart= 40 imperial fluid ounces (fl. oz.)
= 1.1365225 litres (exactly)
≈ 1137 millilitres
≈ 1.20 U.S. wet quarts
≈ 1.03 U.S. dry quarts
1 U.S. wet quart= 32 U.S. fl. oz.
= 0.946352946 litres (exactly)
≈ 946 ml
≈ 0.83 imperial quarts
≈ 0.86 U.S. dry quarts
1 U.S. dry quart= 1.101220943 litres (exactly)
≈ 1101 ml
≈ 0.97 imperial quarts
≈ 1.16 U.S. wet quarts

Total and utter mess. UK redefined measures back in the early 19th century and USA stayed with the old ones. The pint (16 vs 20 oz) is the biggest difference but even the fluid oz is different.
Can any of our Finnish friends confirm if the markets still sell peas and berries by the pint? I loved that on my days in Helsinki.

Actually, over here in the UK it's common to for the press to abandon metric and imperial measuring units altogether in favour of the Analogous System. That is, for example, enough <your liquid goes here> to fill an olympic swimming pool, or, as heavy as three double decker busses.

One online site got so annoyed by this habit that they came up with their own conversion calculator.

I have to side with you on that.
While "body art" to many is some form of expression, I contend that it's related to herd mentality, and shows a weakness within the individual to 'fit in' with a certain crowd.
The human body in its original form is a beautiful thing, why paint or mutilate it to advertise something?
To me, it's distracting, and borders on ugly.
