That's actually quite a funny but unintentional missusspelling.I have plenty of noney
Ah yes, good old Gray Creek. On the banks of Kootenay Lake where you can spend the afternoon on the front porch, whittlin' away on an old tree branch, a little chewin' tabacky 'tween the cheek and gums and fresh groundhog and boiled sawgrass for vittles. You can watch your dog swim away from home for 3 days.Cal, how about Gray Creek, BC?
...good old Gray Creek. ... .... watch your dog swim away from home...
If he survives that first step off the porch?
How's your liver doing? We were just better at drinking than you back then 😛
My father's gave him sclerosis and a painful ending.
My evil, abusive father left this world in 1993, thank god!Cirrhosis is also a sad ending....and getting common in 50 year olds.
He was 68.
I'm now 69 and my liver is fine.
Wow Cal, I had no idea there are hillbillies in BC, and I lived there for 19 years. Albeit on the beach and not in the hills. Maybe those American TV signals drifting over the border had some affect after all. Dang, who let the dog out 'gin?Ah yes, good old Gray Creek. My liver is fine, I was referring to 1824 when the US and UK measurements diverged. I think the British were world leaders in syphillis as well at the time. So between the booze and the Laudanum you do wonder how the empire held together, but it does explain the architecture of the time 😀How's your liver doing?
Largely fuelled by sugar, alcohol, opium, slavery and brutality toward anyone the elite thought of as inferior or who had the temerity to object. In 1833 the factories act mandated:My liver is fine, I was referring to 1824 when the US and UK measurements diverged. I think the British were world leaders in syphillis as well at the time. Apologies. Sometimes my social antennae don't work too well...It was a joke... you rather pulled a downer on us there.
Still, I'm pleased even in 1833 people were beginning to recognise things were awful and wanted to change them. Even it was going to be nearly two hundred years before people could self identify as a tiger or bring their emotional support snake to work...
Enjoy retirement. Getting to do what you want to do when you want to do it is something it's difficult to put a price on. I've had to be more careful with my money, but time is, literally, irreplaceable. I want to enjoy whatever time I have left. I'm 66 btw.59 for me. All but 5 of the 45 I've worked under my own guidance. Started my first company at age 16. Ready for retirement at year's end but the phone won't stop ringing. I better get it demagnetized.
My dad used to have a good TV degausing coil. Probably weighed ten pounds overall. Just an 18 inch diameter coil of copper magnet wire with electrical tape wrapping it.
Having speakers near a larger TV would cause color problems.
Having EV 15W, T250 and T350 drivers under the TV seemed to cause problems for sure.
