The missing bit of insulation from the end of one of the leads was my doing. Anyone know if removing all the insulation from the lead causes the quantums to all fall out, neutralizing the device?

I suggest using the penny as a control. Think of the profit margin if it "outperforms" the DUT.

Excellent question, Jan. These were supplied in a zip lock baggie with no documentation. I mean, really, what can one expect for $180?

I'll hold my nose and go through their website to see if there are any recommendations. Or perhaps John Curl could chip in with any information he has.
