Rather than any of us listening, why don't some of the people that hear these differences, demonstrate what they hear at one of the many smaller hi-fi shows?I hear same difference with BQP's installed in several systems, and others report the same.
BIG QUESTION - Did you actually try listening to any systems with BQP's installed ?.
Dan.
It has been done for decades. About 20 years ago, Jack Bybee and I went to Arizona to I hi fi society to show these devices. I was brought along to help Jack Bybee IF he had another heart attack, not to do the demonstration. Jack needed a companion with him for his heart condition, so he picked me. Some people heard the difference, but not everybody.
All electrons are indistinguishable.
Also true.
To be honest, "behave randomly" is a really bad way to describe the uncertainty of an electron, and I'm really not qualified to explain it any better. But even my very limited understanding of quantum mechanics is enough to make me highly suspicious about the claims of "quantum purification".
What if we just disregard the word "quantum" and look at thermal noise instead? "Thermal Purifier" doesn't sound nearly as sexy as "Qunatum Purifier", but It makes a lot more sense when talking about a device that is supposedly able to stop electrons from interacting with the material of a conductor.
So, these devices actually transform any piece copper wire into a superconductor?... at room temperature?
Still sounds an awful lot like alchemy to me

... Some people heard the difference, but not everybody.
That proves the saying that you can't fool all of the people all the time.

Then you're down to (BEST case) not adding the thermal noise of the 30 milliohm resistance. Which is negligible, but it's impossible anyway. Asserting effects downstream is a first principles violation.
It's garbage, and its promoters and sales people should be ashamed of themselves- but aren't. I just can't fathom such a profound lack of integrity and honesty, but maybe that's why I'm not in the high end hifi business where this is just another day at the office.
I have a large collection of tweeters for which these were intended. Hear (stet) is a thread some of you haven't seen. Just my take on it.

The science of physics cannot prevent the proliferation of Bybee-like devices any more than the science of economics can prevent the bankruptcy of a person/business/nation.
I clicked this thread hoping to purchase some quantum credit/debit card protection.🙂

This statement is (almost) entirely true. It's a very frustrating phenomenon. 😡Compared to you SY, everybody is stupid.
When SY measured a small Bybee which is a carbon nanotube resistor he could find no difference between that and any other resistor.
Now I believe the only proper day to discuss Bybees is on April 1st. So if reminded a bit ahead I will post some measurements then. No I won't discuss until then what is measured or the results.
Meantime those who have never even seen one are welcome to post their opinions. Maybe even those who have played with them also...
Now on to more important issues like anti-gravity and how it improves the high frequency response of left-hand wound dome tweeters.
Carbon nanotube resistor....... Wow these devices are even further ahead than I realised, probably bought ex-stock when they broke up the Enterprise for scrap.
That proves the saying that you can't fool all of the people all the time.
I would have said:

You have to remember that JC's physics studies were so long ago that he didn't have to do any quantum mechanics, and he has forgotten all the thermodynamics. He is a strictly Newtonian 'physicist'.SY said:Doesn't this stuff embarrass you even a little bit?
I would like to know how the crystal technology is suppose to work, this seems to be the new thing with many "super tweak" companies having products that work using crystal and crystal technology...
Possibly the Emperor not only has new clothes but also jewellery to go with the new clothes...
Or should I stop being so questioning and blindly accept what I am told without question or reference to reality?

Interesting will be what happens when Mr Bybee kicks the bucket.
At 85, shouldn't be long now.
(for the likes of me, I can't recall any magical device that stood the test of time)

There's plenty of other folks out there to fleece the naive. One fewer won't make much of a difference either way.
It's all about energy and resonance.
Is this an endorsement or just hippy talk🙂

You can read about CNT thin film resistors all day long. No magical properties or claims of of behavior outside of known physics as far as I can see. Jumbles of nanotubes in sheets sometimes with some stuff added, people are trying to make things like replacements for indium in display panels, etc. It's known as science.
One fewer won't make much of a difference either way.
(same can be stated about the naive)
