I actually dont mind that one.
Even though it really stands out, It's sort of soothing and aesthetically pleasing.

Zman01, I sure hope so... as I already wrote many times, large speakers are so hard to get right. Many of them are just too imposing and won't disappear no matter how good they play. Even smaller ones like the organic looking magico m6 looks quite evil to me...To me the Askja speakers look better in deeper colors.
Noamgeller's build has been shaping up very nicely, and will look (much) more beautiful, right? 😉
What about this one? 😉Looks like a Dalek. Pepermint, with a th4001,... but still a Dalek. 😀
It looks like a funny guy into a vf14!

Vf14 to the funny guy: Luke, i'm your father! 😀
Oh well....
Yours will look way better to my preference.

It kind of looks like an episode of The Jetsons 😀.It looks like something from 60's and how they imagined everything will be designed in the future.
We live in future they've imagined and it is still bizarre.
@UserAbuser no offence meant, I'd have to agree with zman01 that darker colors would do the design more justice. The colors as presented give it that plasticy '60's look as if it were meant as a futuristic model. At least in my head... But then again, I don't consider myself to be a role-model of a 'sane person', I've openly admitted to be a little crazy at times 😉.
But we haven't touched the retail price of 550000€. God bless DIY@UserAbuser no offence meant, I'd have to agree with zman01 that darker colors would do the design more justice. I totally agree guys, only roasting not the best looking is no fun and not fair... here are some
gorgeous looking speakers (to my eyes)

I love what Focal did with the sliced parts... It seems like it is way more airy and smaller than it really is...
In contrast the Magico's look like something out of a Batman movie...
Though I still like the look... but it's hard not to be impressed if you see them with a human beside it...
But it's a functional shape, I can't help admiring that...

Shape follow function:
They are ugly... but the Kef Muon is an actual very good shape for acoustic properties :

In Batman dress they could be more acceptable to me ( i like the styling in Nolan's movies).
You can even think about quadriphonia at retail price of a Dalek's pair. 🙄

If money was not a barrier. Then sure why not. Yet, in this times of war I do feel more then ever that this kind of luxury goods do not really have place in our society... and represent something hugely corrupted.
I get what you're saying, but I've never been one to admire price tags. I can admire shapes or solutions.
But nothing is as satisfying as designing and building something yourself and have it come out right...
The world is a funny place, people are a strange breed. I vote for more music, not power or dominance...

That is beautiful. I can't imagine a more elegant solution with that baffle shape and size. Embracing the squareness with the angular theme is beautiful. Reminds me of a supercar. There is no way to put a super tweeter on it without destroying the look though I'm afraid.
Exciting to see that you are doing.
Have you heard the Vox Olympians?
(Sorry if you've answered already - I've not read all 11 pages).
Many say best speaker they've heard at shows.
Personally I'd go for a straight mid bass horn rather than the slanting folded.
The use of Vitavox drivers in the mix has huge allure.
I just can't get that fired up about tall monoliths with lots of passive radiating drivers.
On the occasions I've heard the big them they have been loud and bold but lacking charm and detail (for me anyway).

Haven't started to think about the super tweeter yet. .. I am afraid you are right, If you have a creative idea I'll be happy to hear!
