I got artsy with the speaker grill covers. I shaped them to match the mahogany super tweeter holder. Which has that shape because of the way that the Horn and the 10 inch are offset from Center. Also, I did not want to cover the horn to avoid attenuating the high frequencies with the fabric.
But, I’m going to have to remake both of the covers. On one of them, I used magic marker to mark the outline so that I could cut the cover before I installed it and it bled through the fabric. The second one I cut it to size and Even though I was careful, I cut through the cloth. It is a good thing I got twice as much fabric as I needed.
My wife and daughter do not like the grill covers. They don’t understand the shape, but most of all, they don’t like that a little bit of the 10 inch shows above the top.
I said that I could just leave the covers off, but my wife said this is a living living room, not recording studio.

Nice work but I do think a complet grill will look better on this speaker. You can route the outer profile to make it a bit more slick lookinggot artsy with the speaker grill covers
that or grilles for the 18” and 10”, assuming they are available. I don’t think they have any noticeable effect on their sound so can be left on permanently.a complet grill will look better on this speaker.
