Fairly disastrous weekend at the Epsom Horse-Racing. I lost my shirt! Well, only an £8 shirt. I can afford it.

Oh well. The intensity of the Cricket surprised me:

Root and Stokes in top form in the batting. Broad and Anderson contributing in the bowling. And a good fielding performance from Pope for a quick but devastating run-out.

England won the First against the Kiwis. But a long way to go. I know this game. 😀

Sorry my friend, but horce race is not a sport, it's pure human cruelty inflicted to animals....nothing else.Don't you feel you're lonely with your narcisism here? I can bet you're a cruel person yourself.You may pretend you care about those horses but no horse wanted to race for your betting sport.

Horse-racing is as good a Sport as anything else. At the top level you, as horse or jockey, risk Life and Limb to achieve something.

I was totally stricken watching Anthony Van Dyck break a fore-hoof:

I was yakking with my good friend Sophie about the Races tonight. How did you get on at Ascot and Epsom she said? 😕

A complete disaster, I admitted. 😕

Tuesday won the Epsom Oaks:


I don't want to talk about Ascot.

Then Nashwa won the French Classic:


I just seem to pick the wrong horses, or at least the wrong week!

I said to her, I am thinking of giving up on Horse-Racing.

Yeah, right, she said. AS IF! 😀
