Thus it turned out. WHU came back for a squeaky 2-1 win against brave non-league Kidderminster. LOL.
Onto the more interesting FA Cup 4th. round game between my Beloved Sky Blues (Coventry City) and the team we refer to on the South Coast as "The Scum" or Southampton.
I'd have been happy with a 3-0 defeat. But NO. We are a goal up! Gyokeres has tapped one in! Still don't fancy our chances. But, hey, we are not ready for the Prem. Maybe we might fancy another Cup run,

As I said, we were not expecting to beat "The Saints" of Southampton tonight. But teh Sky Blues gave them a Hell of a game.

Oh well. That's pretty much it for this year. Next year we are going for survival in the Premier League. IMO.

Hardly on a par with Tonya Harding trying to nobble Nancy Kerrigan with a baseball bat in the Ice Dance at Lillehammer in 1994 either.
No. What happened is £30M soccer French centre-half was filmed drop-kicking, slapping and throwing a shoe at his little family cat on Social media! 🙄

I used to be quite good at "Arm Wrassling" as it goes. My opponents would underestimate my thin-looking arm. I am built for endurance not strength. I wear opponents down. 😎
Anyhow, after the scandals of drug-induced performance at the Winter Games, a fine performance by our GB Girls Curling team. GOLD!
Proud of them. A Four in the Curling is like a 147 in Snooker.
Also enjoyed the French win in the Ice Dance, and a welcome return for the Jamaican Bobsleigh team.

Thank Goodness the Four Days of the Cheltenham (Horse Racing) Festival is over for another year!
I was in da Bookies this morning and a fellow punter was asking me if I had any tips.
For sure, I said, bet on (Irish Trainer) Willie Mullins! 🙂
So it turned out. Willie won 5 of the 7 races on Gold Cup day.
Missed the Big One though. Rachael Blackmore and Henry De Bromhead won it on "A Plus Tard".
My own efforts were modest. £19 invested, £2.20 returned on "Bob Olinger". And he fluked it when "Galopin Des Champs" fell at the last. 🙄
