So far I think it would be Vancouver knocking off the defending champions St. Louis.I've been studying the NHL playoffs <snip> No greatest moment
I love me old Drum solos as much or as little as the next man. 😀
But I am struggling to see how it relates to Sport. Beyond a terrific physical co-ordination way beyond my ability. 😕
Doubtless you have a follow up that explains all. 🙂

even though i have no drum training at all, i think that his work is a real sport.Besides he was MJ's drummer for 30 years so keeping that beat for 3 decades should be an honourable mention .he's also considered the drumer's world supreme clock.
Maybe something was "Lost in Translation" here. 😱
There might be a Sport where an "inner clock" really counts. Though I can't think of one right now.
The Olympic Ideal is Stronger, Faster, Higher IIRC.
Ah well. Sky Defender is looking a cracker for a place in an 18 Horse field next Saturday:
Racecard | 14:40 August Stakes (Listed) | Windsor | Sky Sports Horse Racing
We live in the present moment. 🙂

I think the Olympic ideal is now "see what cheats you can get away with". All become a bit pointless really.
About as interesting as a horse race and paint drying

No, my friends. Sport is the ultimate test of your ideas against the Universe.
For sure, don't listen to my ideas of a good athlete. Or a Steroid induced Madman. 😀
Harry Maguire: Man Utd captain's legal team lodges appeal against guilty verdict - BBC Sport
Sky Defender has been switched out of a handicap into a serious Group One or Three race, I am a bit vague on Groups in the Horse Racing. But all good Horses, IMO. They all look terrific.
Racecard | 15:15 Gallagher Group Winter Hill Stakes (Group 3) | Windsor | Sky Sports Horse Racing
Unless this Nag finishes Second in a six Horse Race, I have lost my shirt. 🙄

Don't try and fool an old Latin speaker like me! 😀
It amazes me that we Brits are so good on Ice Dancing. Torvill and Dean. Robin Cousins. and John Curry.
But like everybody else, I am totally smitten with Katerina Witt.
But for an unlikely winner, we must give credit to the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team.
These guys just figured out to get a fast start on that unknown quantity Ice, And hope to luck with the driver. Just as well they were wearing helmets. 😀

Oh, sorry! It wasn't my intention to try to fool you or anyone else!
In case of Katarina Witt I have to say that I'm not everybody else.
For sure she is one of the talented and nicer creations of nature but I could never understand the hype about. 😕
Thanks for mentioning the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team. My memory was getting very dull about that. Well, I nearly never watch any sport events cause of a profound lack of interest for competitions, so I had only rudimentary memories of some "Cool runnings" film snippets that I've seen on TV.

I can only contribute to your knowledge about Katarina Witt! 😀
Apparently only two editions of the highly Politically Incorrect "Playboy" Magazine ever sold out. The first one was the "Marilyn Monroe" edition. The second was the "Katarina Witt" edition. 😀
Wish I owned them. Probably worth a Fortune. 😎
Anyway, shock news is the famous Nag Mohaather has been retired.
Something about a Bone Bruise leading to it pulling out of what would doubtless have been superb future mile victories and a retirement into Stud. I shall miss this horse. 😱

I ought to let out that I finally ducked Sky Defender in the 5 horse 15.15 at Windsor:

Might have taken it on in a 24 Horse handicap for an each-way third Place.
But I gotta tell you, this is my best season against da Bookies ever. Pure profit.
BTW, I noticed young 2-y-o "Pythagoras" is just ripping the opposition apart this year. One to watch.

Reason it was hard to find is it's not the first nag with this name... 😀

I love the old Nags! Never bet more than I can afford to lose. £15 today. And get a great afternoon on ITV for less than the price of watching some dreary old Soccer Match!
Now you gotta know a surprising fact about the old Gee Gee's. It's a better return than most betting. About 85% payout. Beats all those old lotteries an' such. So really I only paid £3 for massive entertainment and acute interest today. On average.
TBH, I did lose my shirt today on my picks. Broke my discipline and bet mostly on Favourites and dubious handicaps. 😱
But still doing alright this year. Cheltenham was massive for me. Ascot was OK. Goodwood a bit of a disaster. York Ebor was massive.
The big thrill today was what might be Britain's best loved Nag doing its last but one race, Enable. 14/1 on. Hardly worth a flutter.

Next big Group One races are the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France and the St. Leger at Doncaster next weekend. Both longish 1.5m races. Both extremely exciting. Lots of good nags. And some of the ones I follow regularly running. Serpentine, Love, Enable, Pyledriver. Absolutely supreme horseflesh.
The Tipsters are usually useless, but Alex Hammond must be the "Mystic Meg" of punditry. A 14-1 winner in Documenting today.

I make that 2 winners in 3 days! This girl is good.
