You could calculate it from the drawing. I'd be willing to guide you through it.
No, I don't know.Hi @marco_gea,
Thank you very much for your answer. You would not know, by the chance, what the hyperbolic influence is.
Kindest regards,
M
If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say probably T=0.7. But that's a guess.

Well, thank you very much anyway, especially for checking the dimensions. No, I don't know.
Hi @AllenB,
That would be great. But, how can that be done since both the vertical and horizontal curves are without any dimensions and as such are, I am afraid, only approximations? You could calculate it from the drawing. I'd be willing to guide you through it.
Kindest regards,
M
It is drawn to scale, but it is out by a few percent here and there, and has very slight rotational error. I have drawn a reasonable approximation and after this I will draw an equivalent axisymmetrical horn.
Compensating for spherical waves to planar so you can model it in hornresp. Firstly, the equivalent axisymmetrical profile..

Nice, but also a stock photo.
Any more actual pictures of your own build?
I'd love to see them!
Including G.T. Sound parts? 😉
There's only one person I'm aware of that uses the D-04R outside of Japan, and not exactly in the kind of setup that I aspire.

Imho it's a kind of a waste of the outstanding qualities of said driver to use it in anything but a well-thought-out 2 way, let alone a complicated multiple horn system.

Someday I might, but I'm not willing to spend that amount of money yet.
You're undoubtedly familiar with this plot:
The response of the GSU-D04R (primarily between 350 and 4k) looks similar, slightly flatter - albeit with 8-10 kHz extra treble-extension,
even without horn!

Thank you very much. I have a false impression that I understand what you did.It is drawn to scale, but it is out by a few percent here and there, and has very slight rotational error.

I visited GT Sound's headquarters in Chiba (Japan) ten years ago, and I'd never heard a better system before... nor have I since.
A reasonable estimate.Thank you very much. I have a false impression that I understand what you did.

You're not alone.
Someone else (also with a certain frame of reference) recently flew to Chiba and was equally impressed.
Compared to almost every so-called high-end manufacturer, be it Aries-Cerat, German Physics, Göbel, Living-Voice or whatever, G.T. Sound focuses solely on the basics/essentials. So they only produce 2-way monitor-like speakers, but executed (and perfected) beyond what other manufacturers think possible.
I can’t find their prices, can anyone give an indication?G.T. Sound
