Really? Go spend some time with monks and the circumstance of the meditation is not an issue.Based on what?
'some time'. How much is some? I have indeed spent 'some time' with monks of several religions and none of them said I needed >8" woofers in order to meditate.
Are you being deliberately obtuse?I have indeed spent 'some time' with monks of several religions and none of them said I needed >8" woofers in order to meditate.
My point was if you're good good practitioner of meditation, then surrounding noise and distractions shouldn't be an issue.

. I think he's talking smelly stuff. Not sure why you decided to jump in, but you've certainly not moved the discussion on. If you keep comments in context you avoid insulting people for no reason. If you are after a meditative experience, you need a sound that is big (soundstage), musical (dynamics) and real.... a sound that can pull you away from daily worries and tickle your deepest emotions.
Big sound (soundstage?!?) does not mean loud sound. Big woofer also does not automatically mean loud. Big driver systems actually perform better at low volume listening. So yeah, take my word, it is good smelly stuff. My comments were aimed at Zymyrna who said . I think he's talking smelly stuff.
