'some time'. How much is some? I have indeed spent 'some time' with monks of several religions and none of them said I needed >8" woofers in order to meditate.

My point was if you're good good practitioner of meditation, then surrounding noise and distractions shouldn't be an issue.

Big sound (soundstage?!?) does not mean loud sound. Big woofer also does not automatically mean loud. Big driver systems actually perform better at low volume listening. So yeah, take my word, it is good smelly stuff.
