..."cone size in inches" refer to the actual cone size of the driver, which is usually a little less than the "formal" size...
For instance, a 10" PHL 3451 mid driver has an actual cone size diameter

It is the Effective Cone Diameter (D)..
D = (4*[SD]/[Pi])^(1/2)
where T.S.P. [SD] represents the Effective, Projected Radiating Area of the Driver Diaphragm.

What about the Satori MW19P-4? At 7.5" it would seem a good directivity match at ~2khz, has very flat FR from 200 up, low distortion and reasonable sensitivity at 91.5...

Sd of 158cm2 is a bit small to match 80 degrees at 2kHz.
Yes sensitivity is a bit low but actively it could work. The MW19P-4 could deliver 117.5dB within Xmax at 200Hz if fed 400W (e.g. Ncore NC400), which should be plenty. IEC power rating is only 70W but I'd be surprised if the VC couldn't take short bursts of 400W.
Beautiful driver, but not sure about the break up at 3 kHz?
You could cross the 7.5" satori at 2.2-2.5 for a better match.....

For me it s a woofer, and btw not a good match for any direct radiation tweeter: Too BIG for Tpl150. But ok for TPLH.

a 8" (8pe21 from B&C) or a 6" (?) with this H6000, RCF below the TPLH150 ? For instance a good enough PHL Audio ?
It seems it is possible if asked gently to RCF with a grup buy to make it builded again but I don' know the minimum quantity !

Same problem with any 8 pro : no bass. Real bass with small 6-8 mid woofer => low eff drivers. Miracles => Lourdes😀

An LR4 crossover at 1700Hz between the Satori MW19P-4 midbass and Satori TW29R tweeter provides good attenuation of the MW19P cone breakup, and also a smooth polar transfer to the 1.1" TW29R dome. The MW19P just starts to beam ~1700Hz, so the tweeter baffle placement will control high freq 2-PI to 4-PI transistion.
Decisions on baffle shape will also shape the soundstage. A narrow front baffle with large(3") radius edge treatment can smooth the upper midrange, but also put greater demands on the woofers. A wider baffle will "drive" more midrange sound to the listener and less into the room, plus support a sharper and lower frequency transfer point to the woofers.
The factory SPL measurements for the MW19P and MW16P both look like excellent midbass candidates.

There is also a SEOS WG for the RAAL, but does not work as good as TPLH: chaotic response above 10khz.

Nowadays most Legacy drivers are proprietary designs, custom mfg'd by various vendors.
