Best Audio Relays

Any views on the BEST audio relays for line level signal switching?.....

Unfortunately this thread (according to the OP) is about signal relays, rated for far smaller currents. You seem to be looking for a thread about output relays.

Bonsai,
Silver and Palladium is physically a better material for relays..the ASX type is perfect for Phono preamps . ASX ( Palladium) and TXD ( Gold ) .

Bonsai, look at SX (ASX) Panasonic datasheet:

Contact material Stationary contact: AgPd+Au clad Movable contact: AgPd
Nominal switching capacity: 10 mA 10 V DC (resistive load)
Max. switching power: 0.1 W (resistive load)
Max. switching voltage: 10 V DC
Max. switching current: 10 mA DC
Min. switching capacity (Reference value): 10 μA 1 mV DC

According to above data they should be better than AGN/AGNQ Panasonic. What is your opinion?

They look good - but I note they are to be discontinued. If you are building a one off they will be ok.

yes, they are obsolete for one thing, also the contact will only carry a max current of 10mA and 10VDC. The ratings are a little low for using this relay as output of the preamplifier and to me a little limiting as well as at the input.
I was looking at those for some of my projects but then I had a second when I had taken into full account their max ratings.
Conversely the Teledyne highlighted here at the beginning seems to be an interesting part although very expensive.
Does anybody here have any experience with that particular relay? I would wonder if anybody has auditioned it against other type either dry or wet relays type.

You wouldn't want them -- some have the incorporated transistor, various coil impedance. and not enough to go around.

Hi Jack - from an audio perspective, any disadvantage to using the TN version of the Teledyne? Seems like it would save me wiring up a few parts. Seems like there's a good supply of surplus parts available online.

Which of the in follow mentioned should I prefer
1) in order of best sound quality and

Panasonic TQ and DS are very reliable having used at least 100K over the years and seen very few failures.

I have had excellent results with Axicom V23105-A5003-A201. It comes in different coil voltages, is PCB mount, and is a double DPDT contact.
