In this ccs we use a 1000uf cap .
I wonder how one of the newer
polymer caps would work there ?

Amp running?

So did anyone have proper build of BAF 2015 hockey puck amp? How does it sound? Can you compare to other amps?

As far as I know, nobody came to an end! Different problems. At least with 3 A.
Smaller versions seem to be running.

Non news about is finished because he is very busy with new house build.
On the photos show his exemplary diy circuits with hockey puck.
Papa say we need adequate impedance audio source to get amp work like expected.

As far as I know, nobody came to an end!
Different problems. At least with 3 A. Smaller versions seem to be running.

Odd. Here is the original schematic and some curves. Note that the CCS tap is
at the bottom of the 2 0.2 ohm resistors.

As stated before, this has to be driven by a fairly low impedance DC coupled
source, otherwise the transformer will react by motor-boating.

Mine (pictured above) worked fine driven by my AP, which is 25 or 50 ohms. I never got to play any music through it because of the move.
