Babelfish M25, SissySIT - general building tips and tricks

M25 up and running!
No problems at all - easyly adjusted to prescribed values.
Same start-behaviour as M2 (silence < 1m < music!)
since there are neither kids nor pets around
I decided to build an open structure with just the hazardous parts coverd.
No box!
Heatsinks are 48cm x 16cm x 9cm with 2cm base
everything is bolted to a 2cm thick aluminiumplate.
500va toroidy with 4 x 18v sec, 4 x gbpc3506 with 0.1µF on ac side,
56 x 6800µF 105°C 35v nichicons (20€).
Rs in CRC are 25w 1% Arcol
two CL60s to PE
noticed that the BDs get warm and should keep contact
so I gave'm a tiny copperheatsink and keratherm
same with 7805 (belt and suspenders)
the IRFPs got mica
btw - thanx for good tip with the white paintmarker on narrowside!!
feet are from dynavox (sufficient)
beast weights 30kg
plays right now some Emile Parisien into old tonsil-unitra twoways
43°C sinktemp after 2 hours still waiting for final adjustment

ALL HAIL TO THE ALLMIGHTY ZEN MOD
thanks
Attila I.

Don't think that you have indigestion with that!!!

Looks very neat and decent.

Mine is an M25...with the boards built and completed by His Omnipowerfullness His Celestial Self. (I am old, shaky hands and can no longer (happily) do this sort of work). But despite that - I am going to have another go on a Bonsai Kx and also Fab USSA5!!! Also on Wayne's BAF - when the store has boards in stock.

@Atilla 1....that is a most superb amplifier. You must be very proud.
Have you considered using strengthened glass as a cover? It would keep dust - out even the cleanest houses have some. Congratulations.
