Lovely giggly wiggly, ZM. That looks like it sounds quite good.
…
That is, sounding the same as all your other amps.

Gulp..... already several Babel🐟🐠🐡 behind
😅
But at least I did get the MF A1 and F8 PCB's mounted during Christmas - next up the metal work....but that will not be until completion of some other 5-8 projects 😆

I really appreciate all the data you give us and 3 BFF8s - unbelievable.
The question especially for old folks like me - could I hear the difference between the three?
I am so lucky to have a number of your amps and I can appreciate the differences there. XA252 Big Puck is getting a lot of play these days but the Sissy is right behind. Scryer and F8a are ready to go on heat sinks and I think they will provide interesting comparisons. Just my thoughts.
Your posts keep me young 😊

I see 4x IRFP150 ??If you look carefully ZM sent SJEP instead of IRFP 🙂
Yes, yes 4 x IRFP......just tried to be fun......or check if you were awake 🙂

with so easy speakers as you have (Pass Labs Tannoys), I believe no big difference ......
But then, this amp format is made for such speakers
what I forgot to say - I made 2 additional iterations just because ...... as conceptual problem solving fun, but - as main criteria - trying to have them in same quality bracket as first one, and then, hopefully, with Papa's original
So, again, not expecting too much of difference sound-wise
After all, what's +/-6db of difference, between friends

No idea if it makes music, but bias is set to 490mv across r16 and offset is close to zero on both channels. Had a little hiccup with 4 volts of offset on one channel which turned out to be a cold solder joint on the trim pot. All good now. Dual mono setup with 160va trafos, LT4320 rectifiers, R21 modules and IRFP150s(until I win the lottery)
