Have you considered the serial or USB controllers such as those from Matrix Orbital?

Toronto is nice this time of year, I'm up here for a couple of weeks, haven't been here in 41 years. (I lived in Don Mills, ON from age 1-4.)

That Active Surplus store on Queen street is amazing.

I made a temporary "enclosure" for the DAC. My goal was to isolate the vibrating and buzzing transformer from the DAC board by using o-rings. The wires and resistors that connect the two boards together are still too stiff. The solder easily hardens the stranded wire. I´ll have to come up with a more flexible wiring... Any ideas? Maybe I´ll try a thin copper foil.

Here's some pics:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Karma,

Whats with your website these days?
By the way, what speakers are those on the table? kinda look like Infinity
And are those the Kuze3201 array back there?

Josh

YOu can't get past the username and password.. I didn't thing that was a challenge.. 🙂

The speakers really do look like Infinity. The first mod to them X-over's and change the damping material behind the tweeter 🙂

Copper foil should work fine, especially if you form loops to improve isolation.

You may also consider suspending DAC board instead, as it will be much easier to implement. Use solid core wires (22ga or so) and for signal 26ga should be fine.

sure peter ill have a copy of the pdf, if its no problem.😉

i allready e-mailed you about some info. just use it to reply.
my forum mail is turned off.
