Hey guys I was tweaking the layout I add an optional fuse holder you know the little metal ones, and I add an extra hole for the P1 "trim pot" I measure it and the pith distance between leads is 2.5MM, on the board I order is fine just if you want to use those weird looking trim pots you know you can, I also add some extra room for the solder on 470uF the top ones, a different coil silkscreen 1uH, and the tracks I made them a bit thicker so to avoid the burn out of the board after replace components many times "that is from Carlos suggestion", Carlos logo I hope he like it lol, you might ask yourself, why he is doing that? because I really enjoy it and it is good to relax my mind. I'm waiting on parts for the boards I have and I can't wait to see it shine, " I mean shine because is complete not shine because the of fire is going to come out" just joking lol is going to be fine, well I hope you guys like it have a great day everybody!

MJE15033 or BD139 " jumper options"
I came out with this idea so, in order to instal BD139 and BD140 they have go under the board with an extra heat sink and I really don't like it to be honest so today I tough about "jumpers", what about if you have the option of change the " J's " around and use the transistor you want? example Dx Blame ST the Q9 is BD139 and Q10 is BD140 so is = E C B order, on Dx Blame MKII Supercharged Q9 MJE15032 = B C E and Q10 = B C E just as the original layout is printed on the board, having the options of holes for the jumpers add the flexibility of using the the whole L shape heat sink adapter with no more modification, you think guys is a good idea or bad?

Not a bad idea and I really don't mind to share with you guys the layout, if some one is interested to make a group buy is cool but I can't not take responsibility of it because my father is sick and I'm not going to have enough time to do that, but I be happy to share the file of course why not, but if some one with high lever of knowledge can check the file to make sure all is correct I really apreciated, and I really don't want to bother mister Carlos he did a lot already, and please if some one is interested to check the file and have more experience doing this on Sprint Layout 5.0 let me know, I'm going to post the file here right now, check feel free to say, " it might work" or is not going to work" I really don't mind at all I'm not perfect, here guys check this file. 😀

I just want point out that this is just to keep Dx amplifiers going on, and is not to replace mister Miguel Nabuco original layout work and mister Carlos work too, this is an alternative if you want to order your own board and enjoy the build experience, it will be nice to have the original boards too but I chose to order two boards to see how they look, I have mine already waiting on parts and I found out is not that 100% perfect the way I want it, but hell! this is a learning experience is awesome! 😀 ok here are some images of the board with some parts already installed for Dx Blame ST model.

Maybe I'm the only one here in Puerto Rico with this boards 😀 Puertorricans need to listen to this amp let see how our music sounds with this nice amp, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, and "musica de Jibaros" well I'm listen to London Symphony a lot specially Fresh Aire 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 etc.

I guess there are not too many people in Puerto Rico that can go the diy way. you should be proud that you can build your own amp and not buy some of those crappy garbage that sell in many electronic stores. I went to the diy way too and I am happy as a clam. enjoy your amp!!!😉

This reminds me 1970, a B/W television set named Colorado RQ (Reserve of quality)
The reserve of quality was big resistors below the tube sockets, they said this would increase resistor life (Precision) for their whole life as they were under severe heat.
Your "Quality Reserve" works in a similar way... despite no heat there and despite modern resistors have not that resistance drift because heat and age effects.
My technician, the one used to go to my home to repair my tube Television Receivers was Briedis Zigurds (Latvia), someone that survived WWII Eastern Front, he used to replace tubes in this television set and never said "Alles Kaput" or "all destroyed" as he used to say about Brazilian Television sets..... due to big resistors maybe.... 10 watts in place of 1 or 2 watts.
Use BC546/556 and BD139/140 dear Juan...also supplies below plus and minus 42 volts DC unloaded.

Digi-Key got nice economical shipping to Puerto Rico. 😀 but the only thing I change because was cheaper the power transistors I chose this ones MJL3281AGOS and MJL1302AGOS $3.70 a piece I don't know why the other one cost twice the MJL4281A and MJL4302A ? 🙄

The name may be "resources".... because i was someone that used to assemble things using junk parts..this way we develop this kind of tricks to replace parts.
I do not have secrets...all i know i use to inform people.🙂
By the way, diodes are not a very good thing to be used in audio amplifiers..because in the presence of strong Radio Magnetic field they can detect Radio Frequency and this may modulate the supply rails... the copper lines behaves alike antenna, capturing electromagnetic and converting into electricity that follows the modulation....so.... this will not work fine if you are nearby strong Television and Radio Broadcasting transmitters.
