Technically speaking, the design of this amplifier is much more versatile than your other amp....but no one understands this....This version is much more robust and efficient....

I think a few of us understand it, especially those who helped in this thread, but the other amp looks more familiar to others and it is the only one I completed into a stereo unit. Oh well, looks like I better build another chassis for this one, take some photo's and comment about it's peformance.

Quasi...remembers me Quasimodo...was someone with phisical injuries that lived in a
Parisien Cathedral.... a nice love history...he was ugly but very good.... and the movie made we love him.
Well...i imagine that the name is not pretty enougth..but i am sure no one will forget it........maybe not..... i am not sure if people has this "movie culture" i have.

Nature power... spiritual things are good to be used too.
QUASAR.... pulses generated in stars..... here is a suggestion.
Wanna a Latim sufix....QUASARUM..... means Quasar one...sounds nice.... the name add one into the other....pronunciation is a music.

I was thinking why i do not use to track this thread..maybe the amplifier use Fets...and i have problems to find fets..maybe crowdy or complicated...i have some resistance to those ones.....well...i will go back the thread to see.

In terms of Quasars, my other passion as a young man was astronomy. I nearly finished building an 8 inch reflector, until a friend of mine (ex-friend now) dropped the completed hand ground mirror. Unfortunately I became distracted with other interests (girls) and never started again.
So my Quasar like many of my other projects are unfinished symphonies.
