Helo Hugh,
I think you are using "Barracuda Spam Firewall", which is entertaining my email as a spam rather than as a msg....thats why it is still bouncing back...

hehe....barracuda firewall is strong.
Thank you Quasi...there's nothing to critisize in your schematic...it is very good....the reason why i was distant from this thread are connected to my own filtering methode...i use to jump over threads were the circuits use a single fet or when it uses too much components...more than 12 active components.
I know that i will have problems with "that" specific component, the Fet...so i run away not to be frustrated.
I am lazy to construct big amplifiers and also there's not too much FETs in nearby electronics market, as i told you before.
I had inspected all your thread...your amplifier was created, developed, corrected and tuned,...well man....the best "sonics" man.... the most brilliant designer...and the most courageous developer of new ideas (Kanwar).... you had cooperation of many good designers.... i am feeling a little of envy too...hehe...as a result of that, your amplifier is not only a good idea, but a result of group cooperation.. it may be excelent in sonics too, evaluating by the people is around you.
My God!...Mr. Sonics, Mr. distortionless and Mr. Innovation and your cooked idea..the one was boiling in your mind and gave the main structure of your amplifier.... hard to beat combination.
I felt the need of more images only..but this is very personal, as i love to post and produce images and i think that people visit the threads i use to open because of that...people likes too..it is one more sensorial information...we do not have sound, smell or the possibilty to feel things touching...but we can be rich in words and images.
I also had those problems with girls...they keept me very busy for long years...now it is time to remenber and to run to catch my own wife...ahahahaha.
I am not complaining...really was fine that life gave me this gift...the love of many girls...oh!...for sure i have several great moments to remember as i loved them deeply...some of them are around even those days...this made me confident related them and also will make my future "retirement" as a "warrior" free of sadness.
I still feel myself in love to all those girls...i had not lost that imotion related them...i just cannot touch them anymore as i am married....but if i turn free...hehe....

Third from left to rigth....the most pretty one
But really....hehe...Brazilian legs use to be more fat than those thin girls.... observe Giselle Bundchen...for our "standards" of beauty, she seemed that had lived into II world war concentration camps....only bonds.
Yeah!...they are "acceptable" in my Airlines.
have your seats fellows and Fly Dx!
Free destination this week, charter fligth will be to Australia to a meeting with Quasi, Rabbitz, Aksa, Thorton and Greg Erskine.
There's one more aussie that will be with the stewardess....those ladies will be with him...as he is sick...the best Hugh's friend.

Carlos

hi there guys,
I have some couple of BUZ901DP in my drawer, and Im
planning to use this on NMOS200 project.
my question: what issues will I encounter when using
these devices?
if ever there must be, and since I have not much
experience
on Lateral Mosfets, what would be your advice ?
cheers

ps: Quasi 😉 you've got a good selection in your site
congrats

G'day Hienrich,
I have not used these FETs but I know The Saint has. Maybe you could ask him. Anthony is a world class designer and has probably got all the experience you need for a good response. He would easily have a view about their suitability in my design. (Sorry if I dropped you in it Anthony)
Anyway, this question really belongs in my other thread "Power Amp Under Development"
Cheers
Q
😀 no its just ok at least you've done something....
well from your project I could still manage to acquire
those devices and with some mods bipolars can also
be fitted i guess😀
😉
but I'll still try BUZ's on this
as the thread says: " Power Amp uder development"
I'll just show updates in the future........

From another thread - reply to Sam;
The 6 FET module appears to be "excellent" on the bench only. To me this means; it is quiet, very stable, low in distortion and clips cleanly. If you are looking for an assurance that you will be 100% satisfied, sorry I cannot give it. There are too many variables outside of my control i.e; components used, wiring layout etc.
Do you like your Nmos350? I have already said that the sonics of the Nmos350 / 500 will be hard to beat (by any design). In a couple of months I will finish a stereo version of the Actrk Nmos400 (6 FETs). If you are happy to wait, I can give better information then.
Cheers

How do you further qualify "excellent". Are the sonics better than the Nmos series?
You may be aware that I have built the Nmos with 6 FETs and powered with +-63volts DC (with some modifications). This may not qualify as Nmos350 but I was just offering to test an assured schematic, taking the lead, so to speak.
Tell us a little more about "excellent" and I will give it a try with 10 FETs and +-84 volts (+94 for input stage) since I have such a torroid rated at 1.1KVA and a dozen IRFP264s.
