Alpair MAOP 10.2

Hey Gents, I'm thinking about buying a pair of these and wondering which box I should build, the Amp I want to build to run them is the Joe R. transconductance current source amp(lm3875). Wondering what box would be best? Sealed? I really like the look of those Mini Onkens.

DDVP-15
TWTD-13.5
I think it's related to the box and it doesn't give the same perception of sound. I'm not saying they are poorly designed, it's just that the result to the ear is not the same. I have the impression that to have a better definition with the HBW-08 than with the chn-50P than the ddvp 15. it seems to be the bass trouble a bit the definition. the twtd 13.5 is more defined but there is not enough low frequencies

Hello everyone,
I would like to have your feedback on your experience with this speaker. I have tried several boxes and I am a little "disappointed" by some.
I've been listening to it with satisfaction in a CGR box for almost two years. I've started a few new projects with other Mark Audio drivers. One is already finished, for my son, in a CHN-110 Pactolus box. He listens to it with pleasure. I can report on the rest later.

My "Plans" for the Maops I have, are to build BiB cabinets or perhaps something similar in size/construction to a L3S/5a but with Current drive amp and Aperiodic loading. Have to look again at their T/S's and make up my mind. I've read great things about these Alpair 10s with BIBs

Hello Pierrick59
I have tried two boxes.
58 litre big MLTL and MiniOnken by planet10.
I like MiniOnken more. Clean sound. I am a audiophile.
I want mids and tweeter to be very good. And the bass must be dry and exact.
Maybe the bass will go deeper in a bigger box but I prefer the sound of a smaller box.
