I got prices yesterday on the preamp board with opamps.
This board is smaller than the preamp discrete does not have the goldplated connectors for gain modules. I also managed to make a good layout only a 2 layer board.
That means if i can build 20 pcs. the price will be down to 180€ without VAT (Non EU citizen) and 225€

Hi Sonny,
For some reason, I cannot open your 3d pdf file. I have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.

You should enable 3d in Adobe acrobat readerHi Sonny,

I am looking at a frontpanel for the preamp.... I will see if I can get it into the price of the preamp board.....
Frontpanel for preamp.
It is 220x70x4mm power coated black.
It will have a small OLED from adafruit model 938 (At least adafruit until i have found the the manufacturer of the Display).
The display is 29x15mm so that is enough to show basic information. Volume control is done by encoder. (24 clicks/turn)

Sonny,
Will that be a chassis just for the preamp or for an integrated amp of your design?

Do
I want it to be for both....
My biggest problem right now is that it would most likely need to be 330 wide rather than 220mm. My dream was half width but that is not possible as the preamp board is 130 wide, IEC inlet is 40mm and then i need to find space for bindingpost within 60mm.... that is not possible but with additional 110mm there is space for DAC or RIAA as well.

As you all know I am working on the tssa v1.8 replacement.
I do not know if I am better than lazycat. But I have made the schematic for the new amp. It is not current feedback, it does not have this extremely high bandwidth.
But I am confident that I can make a board based on the same design that fits on the same mounting dimensions as the first one... Using the same supply, and still a very stable amp.
It would require 2 days work for me to do that. But I need to know if anyone is interested!?!?..... And how many.

Fun you mention it. I have several times thought about suggesting 330 mm, also for my coming poweramp. My old Quad 34, FM4, 405-2 set is that with and beautiful to behold. To my eyes 330 mm just looks more "right" and easier to combine with other things in the rack. But that is just my view. BR, PerI want it to be for both....

Just an update:
Regarding TSSA V1.8 replacement. (PCB layout phase).
I am adding bridge rectifier and snap-in capacitors to the board. The PCB does not get much more expensive nor does the extra components, but people will save a powersupply board as only transformer needs to be added.

"I am adding bridge rectifier and snap-in capacitors to the board"
It's exactly what I need , please count on me for 4 pcs.
I'm very curious how the new version sounds 🙂
The old TSSA V1.8 has great sound.
Thank you , Sonny !

Hi Sonny,
I don't know if you already posted this, but do you have some measurements for the LPS 2.1? Specs?
Thanks

Sonny, more people asked me: "I do not see any A1Vx.x in Mirand shop only TSSA V1.8 CFA. Is it not available anymore? Do you have any info on it? "
I think you should do something ... It would be good for a separate thread for Mirand A1V1.2, the new TSSA V1.8. The world does not know more about them, they are top products.

Would you be kind enough to give me a link to a thread dedicated to this amp module, can not find it!
Thanks a lot"

I must admit that coming to the thread with name that clearly points to DAC and not familiar with nomenclatures used I'm pretty confused. What are the DAC parts, what the preamps and what the amps 😕 And I can not spend days reading the whole thread 202 pages...
I will make a separate thread... But I think in vendor Bazar it is only possible to have one...
I will update my web page....
I will update my web page....
Bassivus
I will make some changes to make it run from 61V on the MIRAND A1 V1.2
I will split my website in 3 sections. DACs, Amplifiers and Accessories (Like power supply)
I will put up some info by tomorrow here... It is a bit late now. So tomorrow there will be more info.

Thank you very much! I'm sure making order will be good for your future business also to make it clear for someone who was not following the whole thread!
As for the amps I'm not sure yet what choice would be good for me. I have Troels SBA10 speakers that go down to 2.85ohm in bass region...
