Ahh... Another piece that’s been tucked away in my stash. It was Hypex’s SMPS for the UCD line before their current offerings. I don’t believe they make them anymore. What’s cool about this one, it has a trimpot to adjust output voltage between 35-45vdc.

Is yours the 400Watt version?

Hmm...I didn’t know farting angels can sound so nice?

Giving listening impressions about audio equipment is such a subjective exercise, and can be meaningless for all but the one giving the impressions.
That being said, when a new piece of gear gets introduced I use a couple of “test” songs to feel them out.

I find it easier to clean up as much of the flux as possible before mounting any through hole components. Hard getting into all the corners after a PCB is fully populated. Hoping my JFET pairs and will be here before the weekend so I can get going as well

Yes, beautiful work on building the amps guys. Kudos to Susyj for super design. This looks like a lot of fun. I might have to give it a go. Vunce, can you share the Mouser cart?

Mouser cart 50W version

This is the Mouser cart I made and used for this project. Small bits and pieces like connectors are not included, neither are the LatFets of course. There are enough components for two channels. Buy extras though
