Same as Jonners i'd be interested in an 1865 board with an I2S converter as my interest in spdif is close to zero.
Hello,
I've tested 10m45 cascode CCS with the 6c45 but this ccs had a lot of noise (Hiss).
Heve you tested this configuration in the real world ?
Ciao
Guglielmo
There is no reason for increased noise. Otoh the 6S45 is very willing to oscillate so this may manifest itself as hiss. What does the scope show?

the problem is the 6c45, I built the 10m45 cascode ccs with 6n6p's and it was dead silent. Excellent sound, much better than SRPP.

Hi! Yes I see, but tube 6h6 or 6h30 use CCs, the sound is not good, I think you use paralle, the sound is better!
Thank😛😛
New I/V srage for DAC-end No use tranformer
audiodesign wrote:** To get the best performances I have developed a new output stage for this DAC.
It use a pair of 5687 or E182CC to produce a low distortion stage with an output impedance near to 1Kohm so able to drive any amplifier. **
Vout = 2Vrms
Vin = 154mVrms
THD = 0.2%

the AD1865 cannot be driven with I2S signals
A simple shift register will take care of that.
😎
Can you post a link or a circuit, for the benefit of all ?
Thx,
Patrick

Hi Quang Hao,
Post 148 is about board color

The color and board when finis is that!
Could you please insert direct link or explain there.
Thanks.

I/V stage cricuit for DAC-END
The cricuit I/V stage. In this cricuit you can use the sample one Pre, Zoou under 1K.
Andrea Ciuffoli say that :
*** Here the final output stage
THD measurement with and without 10Kohm load.
Output impedance less than 1Kohm
Power supply voltage about 270V
Ik = 2 x 8mA
Freq = 10Hz at -0.7db
Vout = 2Vrms with an input of 154mVrms
THD = 0.3% thd max on 10Kohm load ***
And
**To prevent dc voltage on output durung switch-on and switch off phase a relay will short the output to the ground for some seconds.
The delay circuit is the same used in the my design of Monrio Top-Loader CD Player (value 10000$). **
