Sorry Algar, I'll need to revise my order- just realised that the pod, nice though it is, is going to be awkward to use in practice. So, no pod and plate, just two motors, two pcbs and two pulleys. I think the Bix is going to be the best bet, but if you can get the exact dimensons it'd be handy.

Hi Algar a friend has just pointed me at this as he know I was eyeing up his Teres with envy, and was wondering for motor+pcb+pod+top plate+pulley(teres or bix) what would be the cost? Ignore me if this has been answered elsewhere in the thread.

Fisheads may be my PCB prototype tester. If it works Ok, I'll have the PCB made, then I assembled and test one PCB (including the Hammond Casing) for Fisheads. He agreed to pay for my work to do so. Then I'll test it before shipping it to all of you. I may also order in quantity some of the more difficult parts to get at the same time.

This way, I'll be able to certify that all is Ok and (it may happen) if there is some small PCB correction to make, or silkscreen error, etc...

PCB design is completed. I want to verify everything this weekend and send for a quotation next week. I'll check the price break. I may order more than 27 we have on order if I get a better price.

The PCB design is verified. I fine tuned a few things. Everything checked Ok according to the schematic. I'll send it for a quotation on monday.

I may consider to sell a parts kit for the PCB (excluding the case). Let me know who is interested in the parts kit. Take note that I would like to sell parts for all the PCB, since some of the parts can be order only in large quantity, like the pots.

Got a few quotation on-line for the PCB. Price would be about 25$.
Price is about the same for 30 of 50 PCB. I may order 50, so if some other guys want one later, they will still be available. We may also have more than 30 PCB by the end of the week. Price should include taxes, shipping and custom charges to me.

Just to let you know:

I will include into the kit both speed adjustement potentiometer type since the multi-turn pots are so cheap. To simplify thing, take note that for some exception (maybe the single turn pot), I will only sell a complete parts kit. I won't sell just a few resistors at the time. To keep track of all the different combination will be mind buggling and too prone to errors.

The single turn panel mount pot that I choose, the Bourns serie 91, footprint is the same indeed. This is why I choose this particular Bourns pot model. Minimum Qty is 25 from digikey however. So we need a group buy for this one too...

Hi markgall. No parts should be the same for a few new parts for the integrated battery charger. You can choose not to use this new option and connect your wallmart adapter to the included PCB terminals.

What is new also is the LED display section and two new switches. You can get them easily.

Just to let you know also that I'll buy the small M2 screws, flat head, Stainless steel, needed to install the motor on the custom plate. I'll supply them with the motor. These metric screws could be difficult to source here in North America. I'll probably charge 1$ for 6.
