The only method is the photographic.
Try this and then you believe me.

Hello Mile, what grade BC´s you recommended ? A,B or C?
Use B
AX-14J
This is AX-14J 😎
J = Jengkol, that what we call TO-3 transistor in my country 🙂
I should try that the new A17 🙂
but it will be slow 🙄

The jengkols do not look like original, John. But it's not way better than 3055 anyway

Nice work, output on A17 must be on botom (cooper) side of pcb (pins are reverted), NJM2068 instead LM4562 can be use.

I thought so(the marking doesn't look good), but maybe it is original one...The jengkols do not look like original, John. But it's not way better than 3055 anyway![]()
I saw at post #3317 there are AX-14 also use jengkols (with better marking)
but don't worry I have spares some old motorola 15003-15004 if this one is blown 😀
I will try at rail +/-55VDC for 8 ohm load, is it is okay?
if they were original I believe they wont fail 😀 it is worth to try
I just realize it ... & I will try to redraw it if needed 🙂 & fortunely I have some LM4562 😎Nice work, output on A17 must be on botom (cooper) side of pcb (pins are reverted), NJM2068 instead LM4562 can be use.
