Hello Apex,
Please advise any one your design version for subwoofer amp and need any changes/modification.
Thank you in advance.

APEX F100? a lot of power in simple amplifier...also works great as Hi-Fi amplifier when bias is adjusted at 120mA - listening it right now! 🙂
Haha!
I just put 100k multi turn pot in parallel with 3k3 bias resistor so now I have excellent range of adjustment for bias....
Currently have it cranked up to 80mV across the 0.22 emitter resistors for around 360mA per device....sinks are cool and sound is awesome.

thank for let us know that sir 🙂

Hello Apex,
Can I use +/-50V rail voltage on AX-11 TO3 version with below output trans?
I will use MJ15015/ME15016 (Vceo=120V, Icmax=15A) as output trans, BD139/140 as drivers.

Bare in mind that bd139/140 pair is only 80V so you will have to change them for eg with mje340/350
The mje340/350 is a very different pair of transistors from the bd139/140.
They are not a direct swap !!!!!

There are two types od mje340/350 (pinouts), I have on-semi ones and they are direct swap transistors to bd139/140, I have used them in FET-hex amplifier.
Very important is to check on which side the base is located, often in datasheet pinout is different to the phisical pinout!!

Ok, I will use MJE15032/MJE15033 pair then.
That tells me you have bought fakes..........ften in datasheet pinout is different to the phisical pinout!!......
It should tell you the same message !
You can also use MJE15030/15031 ( 150V,8A,50W ).
And 2SC/2SA or BD transistors.
For example,
I use for drivers: 2SC2073/2SA940, 2SC4793/2SA1837, 2SD1138/2SB861, BD243C/BD244C, TIP31C/TIP32C...

Yes I know thet there are fakes on the market but I have bought them from very very good source and they perform very well (so far). In the datasheet (style1) please take a look at the pinout for onsemi mje340/350 is the same as pinout for bd139/140.

Both are the standard To126: ecb
If you find a transistor that is different from what is stated on the manufacturer's datasheet then that manufacturer did not make the device you are holding.

How about these tandems for AX-11...
Output Trans: 2SC5200/2SA1943 (230V, 15A)
Drivers: MJE15032/MJE15033 (250V, 8A)
Pre-drivers: 2SC4793/2SA1837 (230V, 1A)
What is the max rail voltage it can handle safely?
I have these transistors at hand and planning to use it.

ax11
I put this question again . has anybody an answer ?
Can MAT02 direct replace bc546(ltp) in AX11?

Don't use that PCB, use this one.do you mean this?
That has error, NTC won't work.
