My Project before go in to the box...
Thank's for Mile Slavkovic to share....
I've build many project of Your design but I'm forget to take a photo of them...
I don't want to comment about sound...I prefer to enjoy it.

AX14-S
Hi
I'm just finishing AX14-S, S for symmetric view
thanks Apex
but I just use one heat sink
I have a plan to cut it a little, on the center (only --- line on the image)
heat sink length is 30cm, 5mm thick
So which way is good for me,
leave it as single heat sink
cut it on ---line (leave only the finch side)
or cut into 2 pieces?
Regards

Nice work, leave it as single heatsink and what about sound?Hi

oh..., okNice work, leave it as single heatsink and what about sound?

it easier then
but
No sound, not connected to speaker yet
already tested with 10ohm resistor instead fuse (of course connected SGND+PGND) & the offset is small
about 4mV
I will add this AX14 with AX17 on a single power supply (300VA)
& maybe tomorrow I will have the result

AX-? 7 pair output
This is my 1st post here
I woud like to say thank you to sir Mile for sharing those amplifier design
I build your AX- 14 TEF with 7 pair output and +/- 75V rail and compare to my existing
Crown XLS clone same power supply same output board bias set at 50ma.
For me AX-14 TEF is the clear winner

Nice powerfull version, can you post pictures?

I already post picture on post 1130 page 113Nice powerfull version, can you post pictures?

AX14-S sound
then...
Now I know why apex suggest us to try this AX14 😎
the sound is more warm,
more bass than AX17 maybe about 4dB , not sure but the bass I like
mid --- maybe not so far, just a little difference
high ---less high then AX17, but for me AX17 sound more clear
AX14 has some kind softness, I like it 🙂
that what I hear about those AX, hope my ears is normal
I will use AX14 for now & will make re-setting on AX17
so the offset can be low as AX14 which only -1.5mV & -2.5mV after warming
bias is about 100mA(when cold) & bias transistor work very nice too when it warm (not so hot, temperature when testing 26' C)
Thank you Mile
Warm Regards
I'm test with same input, same PSU, & same speakersNice work, leave it as single heatsink and what about sound?

This is very valuable for me,
Thank you
thats why I build powerful version of AX14Now I know why apex suggest us to try this AX14![]()

HX1500 🙂
Hi remle114,thats why I build powerful version of AX14
and here is my next project HX???????
![]()
wow...
this is HX1500, would you share your experience too....
I will share AX that I built,
so here we go...
note: I'm use expressPCB to make .pcb file
I like simple software like that, works fine for me
just enjoy the process of making this amp.
Now I can start new project with better feeling 😎
I hope this can be useful for others
