hellow every one. i have built an ax14. when i switched on there where negative voltage at output due to d4. i corrected the d4 but still 4.5 volt at output. the circuit works but no clear sound
thanks for helping me. everything is working now but it is not finished yet. it is my first bjt based amplifier with bias pot and i don't know much of it. how can i adjust bias pot. can i use a preamp other than tb3 for ax 14
you should adjust pot to set 15mv on 0.33 ohm resistor and then your circuit is biased
you can use any preamp for ax14
hello:confused everyone,, is it necessary to use regulated psu for ax14 and which preamp is suitable for ax 14.
if you use a more regulated psu you can have a better sound.

bias transistor should be mounted on a same heatsink with output transistors and driver transistors. mounted as it is now it will not work because bias transistor can not detect heat from heatsink. start with that...

I would like to build a sub-woofer amp for my A40 setup. Could you please suggest a simple design for handling low frequency. My requirement is to have 200 watts into 8 Ohms. May I use AX14 with 3 output pair? Or anyother simple ones?
