you meant the "wonderful" is better than the "very nice" ?
You know we can not try them all, so if you could be more verbios, please ? 🙂
yours where canned HA ? did you experienced a difference between canned and not canned ? I am not fond of op4562 (same?) (has them from TI) are they the same with ad49710 and 49720 (dual?).
4562 has a thin sound, dunno why.

Nope. I don't do comparisons. My ears are not yours. My system isn't yours, my tastes are not yours, etc...
Build it, you might like it!

if you don't report sound at least in your system then it is useless or at least doesn't help to decide whatever our systems are all differrent.
Sorry, not rich enough and green enough to try it all. Parts here are very more expensive for me than your country.

(I hate for good sound RN55 resistors and Silmic II caps)
There are brown resistors in my system, so to be completely honest, it sounds utterly awful. So my descriptions wouldn't be worthwhile to you.
Btw I talked about it iirc here and someone answered me it was for symetric output dac chip and I couldn't not use it with SE dac output, so I haven't pushed the investigations. On the paper it is brillant : near zero ohm input and 2 Mosfet only ! Papa smartness...
Ah I see ! Wonderfull.... nice ! Thanks for all ! Very smart !There are brown resistors in my system, so to be completely honest, it sounds utterly awful. So my descriptions wouldn't be worthwhile to you.
That's genttle to have a book of my citations, I see I am under your radar ! And yes I don't like that parts but when used to had artificial smoothness (whatever their noise floor) or for the silmic as decoupling to had artificial boominess, but very useful in serie : voilà a constructive input and critic 😉
For me colored parts than those two, beetter a Yageo MP 0.1% : less noisy also if objectivism matters.
If the reader can not see the difference when one talks about a WimaMKP10 used serie in a talk or a Wima in a circuitry instead, then it is not the circuit that is wrong, but the missread or the understanding of it to be completly honnest as well.

Very nice looking D1 board, and wish that you can provide a source to it.
^ this one? If you want to partner on PCB order please message me

@Vunce&@grunf,
for AD811 this Mosfet IXTP08N100D2 is temporary unavailable in Mouser. I found similar IXTP08N100P. What do you think, is it good substitution? Most parameters are the same. Maybe most important is wattage 42 instead 60w.
Also Nichicon UKZ1E101MPM is not available at all. Instead I found very good Panasonic 16SEPC100MW but only for 16v. I hope voltage doesn't exceed 16v.

@Tesla Audio, some time ago @grunf recommended IXTP08N50D2 to me, it is available in Mouser. Check out the thread AD811 I/V
I found similar IXTP08N100P
P It is not similar, it is Enhancement Mode mosfet - not Depletion which is D2.
Don't buy it.
There is still IXTP08N50D2 which is 500 Vdc substitute, Depletion Mode mosfet.
Except voltage which is not important in this case only "Rds On - Drain-Source Resistance" is quite different, 4,6 Ohm instead 21 Ohm. Is it OK?
You can use IXTP08N50D2 as @krca45 and @pjasio253 wrote😉.@Vunce&@grunf,

But not the 16SEPC100MW that you mentioned because they have a high leakage current and are practically unusable with a jfet op amp in this configuration.
Unfortunately Nichicon UKZ and UFG series are unavailable and were the best for this position. The next ones tested are Panasonic FC and Rubycon ZLJ(only 35V), unfortunately I haven't tried Nichicon UKL yet but they look perfect for this application .
I'm currently looking for SMD alternatives to UKZ and UFG, Nichicon has some SMD audio electrolytes but I haven't tried them yet. I've also tested tantalum, Kemet T489 and Vishay TL3 series but not in regulators specifically for audio (for example ad811) but for digital in regulators for +5V and 3.3V (pmd100 and dir9001).
This is not just for Tesla Audio; as for the 1V reference itself and the associated shunt regulator, you can find everything on Walt Jung's website, and if you get stuck, I'm here.
I have worked with these regulators both with TH electrolytes and with SMD tantalums and I can't decide which is better. I prefer SMD only because in that case the PCB is much smaller and more compact which is better with digital devices that struggle with RF interference.
The pictures show these regulators, the first test versions that surprised me with their performance (op amps are ADA4897 for 3.3V and ADA4625 for 5V). 🙂

DS states the same leakage current(0.01CV) for ZLJ and UKZ, however UKZ or UKL have these values expressed exactly in terms of values and voltages. UKL has by far the lowest leakage current of all but I have not tested them and I do not know what they sound like compared to UKZ or FC. I did not choose capacitors according to DS but measured leakage currents and chose UKZ because 100/25V had the lowest value of all that I had at hand at the time including ZLJ and Panasonic FC. Honestly, ZLJ surprised me although I would have preferred Panasonic FC because here we are not chasing low esr but the behavior of the capacitor itself. That is why UKZ(UFG) was special from all other electrolytes.
