I compared the two MA5332MS cards...MA5332MS card with power supply, ordered! 🙂
I will be able to put it in competition with my connected MA5332 amp.. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/class-d-amp-photo-gallery.87913/page-105
wait and see !👍
I modified my first amp (wifi) to add an auxiliary input in order to be able to try the 2 amps on the same dac.
Dac Dual ak4493seq (excellent!!).
Well I prefer...The amp card with integrated power supply.
The sound is more detailed and natural.
The power is not lacking and it stays clean!
For a 5.1 project !

Interesting. cheaper than the board with a separate power supply.
Can you tell us some details? The opamp used, the feedback loop as discussed here before?

mamocel, thanks for your comparison of those two MA5332 boards.
Now it might be interesting to compare the KSD board to an SMSL A300 or Sabaj A20a ?

The op amp is an ordinary JRC4580.Interesting. cheaper than the board with a separate power supply.

They used chemical capacitors on the inputs, maybe better than the ceramic capacitors on the pillor board.
For the rest of the principle of feedback...I don't know...
This power supply card is attached to the cooling box, I'm afraid of doing stupid things when dismantling and damaging the thermal pad of the MA chip!!!
The power supply must also play a role, the EMI filtering seems well designed, it occupies 2/3 of the card.
The least fun, it comes without connectors ...
Jst -VH 3.96 with 3 pins, middle pin not used.

That is what I got with changing the feedback loop. Wide, high and deep sound stage. The sound is more detailed and natural.
The ceramics are for sure not optimal. The op amp is an ordinary JRC4580.

I think you mean pga2310 , just to add, how about adding 4 or 5 input selection relay with one input fixed as a bluetooth or wifi audio module...View attachment 1195857
Looked at the evaluation board design of Infinion.
The feedback loop is a copy of the evaluation board design of Infinion. Except that R55 is 0 Ohm here....
Why would I want that?I think you mean pga2310 , just to add, how about adding 4 or 5 input selection relay with one input fixed as a bluetooth or wifi audio module...
Did you build the DAC yourself or there is a board available for sale?Dac Dual ak4493seq (excellent!!).
The Chinese dual ak card uses the latest model akm4493seq chip in current production, it is an upgrade of the old ak4493 produced before their company burned down.
The JLS card may also have the latest chips because the old ones are no longer produced...Or they are old stock.
The least cool thing about this card is the pops when turning it on or off... output relays would have been needed after the op amps.
You have to remember to turn on the DAC first and then the amp...and the opposite when turned off.

This is awesome. Do you provide a separate power source to the USB to I2S board? The JLS board supports providing a separate power source and not using the noisy one from USB, I'm trying to understand whether that is important or not.
I could have separated the power supply from the computer's USB card, but I didn't... I didn't feel any noise coming from the computer (Asrock Core i3) forcefully upgraded to Windows 11.
Awesome, my source is Raspberry Pi and I currently feed it to Topping D10s which is also powered via USB port only. I don't register any noise.
It is not about the perceived noise, but about better jitter performance.I don't register any noise.
I also use this card for my Buffalo, and still power supply from USB. It works very good.
My Loxjie D50 (AKM 4499) lost somehow it's voice...🙁 I prefer the Buffalo now over the Loxjie. Which wasn't the case before...

Yes, especially on raspberry...An expansion card for Pi with reclocking can help matters.
