Post your Solid State pics here

your opinion on these clones?
I assembled one several years ago and it never touched my heart
I find it really really good. An alive amplifier with low bias current consumption! It's always a matter of taste. By example I find UCD amplifier flat and borring, but often use them in my amplifiers because it's fun to deal with!

What is your favorite amplifier ? I always want to try new things.I find it really really good. An alive amplifier with low bias current consumption! It's always a matter of taste. By example I find UCD amplifier flat and borring, but often use them in my amplifiers because it's fun to deal with!

I'm almost all tubes now but I still love my JLH69s and my Naim clone.
I also have several mosquito zenquito buzquito zenotron and NRDS 30 w amps left.
you live in France ?

My Vendetta SCP-2B phono preamp, non-inverting phase version. It has been constantly on for one year. No hum and buzz, low dc offset and noise, neutral sound. Built with genuine Toshiba J-fets and Hitachi lateral MOS-fets.

NAD 3400.
It's my challenge to learn and repair.
Started with recap.
Then some pwr tr stopped working....

Have 4 off them though. Started recap one of the working ones.
15000uf filter caps in the low rail pwr. Instead of 10000uf.
It's a mess with wires everywhere in this amp, so i will try sort them out, and move them under the board instead.

Hi to all,
here I share my realization of the DENON PMA-SA1.
Input stage and VAS are Sony's style circuits.

The output stage is a UHC Mos Bootstrapped Cascode as in DENON top amplifiers.

Line/phone preamp with no global negative feedback. Volume control after gain block(4x) and before output buffer. Could drive low impedance headphones

Hey, below is my recently built amp with autotransformers 2x300W into 2/4/8R load...

THD: 0,001% at low power and about 0,005% at full power.
SR: 25V/us
FR: 3Hz-160kHz /-3dB full power low frequency limit is around 20Hz, below that output cores saturates

Waiting for parts,
My goodness
the build quality of that NAD3400 is absolutely atrocious for a commercial product. It looks like the accountants were at work in cutting corners for production. I would be ashamed to let such a product out under my name. Compare it with some of the excellent so-called 'amateur' amplifiers build and presented by forum members here

Good luck in trying to get it working

It was a challenge, but now it's working condition again.
Nothing wrong with the build quality, despite its age, still sound great.
More bad engineering and planning where to put all those wires...
Not only nad from that period...

The fault was easy fix after finally found it.
Now it's modified with a BT receiver inside.
And some other mods , beside a full recap. It was a personally challenge, and I got through it
