I just performed the exact same procedure for a chassis I freshly buttoned up. Used JB weld to make sure the studs will not loosen when tightening/untightening the nuts. This makes attachment of the front panel 10x easier when the internal components are mounted.

This is just to let all the Greedy Boyz know that production should start soon! After receiving many requests for a longer front panel which covers both the "body" of the chassis and the heatsink, we have decided to produce some extra panels which cover the whole front surface of the chassis. This will be available at an extra cost for those who want it

While you wait for the new MonoBlock chassis to be available for purchase, I have added the (in)famous Mini Dissipante 4U/300 and 4U/400 chassis to our store as some have requested. The former can also have the standard heatsinks substitued with UMS heatsinks, you can find them here https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/category&path=322

These should be available in the next days on DiyAudioStore as well so all non-EU members can purchase them directly from there :)

They look similar but there are still some differences:

  • MonoBlock's heatsinks are mounted from the outside
  • The width of the MiniDissipante is 250mm while the MonoBlock is 230mm
  • The way the MonoBlock is mounted is different as it is based on the inner cage while the MiniDisspiante revolves around the brackets

I feel like this is enough to justify having both products and not having one "cannibalize" the other
