If all parts are matched, yes. In the essentials kits, the followers are matched
for Idss, and the CCS are matched and given a Source resistor to set their
bias to the Idss of the followers. The followers and CCS fets are not matched
to each other for the J113's as the population of desired Idss is relatively small.

Correct, I'm using the acronym for baffle step correction which normally gets placed on the positive side of speaker. That makes me think that if I reverse speaker wires the BSC is not affecting driver supply (positive) but rather the return to amplifier (negative). My understanding of the electrical principles might be flawed.
The Korg B1 is very simple, even for novices, and well worth anyone's time. The only tricky part is the phase business, which I'm still fuzzy on. I appreciate the help and thanks for the build.
I agree with your last statement there Patrick. The B1 Kong is certainly worth the time. I’ve been listening to mine for about two albums now. The sound is silky smooth yet detailed. Very nice.

Very happy with my Korg Nutube, it sounds fantastic. Have been playing with it for a couple of days now. I am using it with my two ACAs in parallell mono drivning Hesselvall NO:2 (4 Ohm, 99dB) speakers.
I am an absolute Noob When it comes to reading and understanding wiring diagram, but have manged to build the ACA(s) and the nutube thanks to 6L6,s build guides.
Might try building better poweramp(s) later, but afraid its to difficult for me.
But if i do, what amp should i go for?

F6 is good start, I think. You will get good advice here. If you don’t care for real loud music you can go for F4 (no gain, but very transparent). B1 Korg is enough for your speakers.

I have already ordered the Korg Nutube B1 kit. I was considering building a BA-3 and the complementary output stage, but I'm worried that the gain 16db from the preamp + the 30db from the BA-3 frontend = 46 db of gain will be far too much. I use efficient loudspeakers in a small room, but I don't want to build an F4 because I would love the ability to add the BA-3 front end later on, and the more expensive BOM of the F4. Would the Korg B1 be able to directly drive the complementary output? I figured I would ask here first since the Korg B1 is coming no matter what, but let me know if this question is more applicable to the BA-3 thread instead.
Got my Korg B1 (Xmas version not full kit) up and running today. Not yet fully dropped into chassis, so PCB and volume pot just kind of haning in space or propped on cardboard.
Some microphonics at times, but when those are not in play the sound is glorious. Sounded great immediatley upon powering it up. Now time to drill the actual chassis vs the current make-shift temp chassis. Many thanks, Nelson!

Its amazing after 2 months. Coherent yet saturated. 3d and clean.
Nothing quite like it..
The burn in is quite long like the aca.i think it's longer than most build, it have a shrill sound for a month or so . Will adding a cap 100 200 pf to the input to ground helps?
This is another must do preamp... I enjoyed it very much.

Anyhow: here is my finished b1 Korg. I’m listening to it for over a week and although I’m not done experimenting with phase and settings it already sounds fantastic. I’m listening to it on my acoustat spectra 2200’s. I use a hypex Ucd180hg amplifier, wadia12 dac and a squeezebox touch. The soundstage and imaging is fantastic. The bass is good, highs a bit much. Detail is amazing. Difficult and complex music can be fatiguing, music with less instruments (e.g. jazz or some classical music) sounds great.
It is not my first build but it is the most satisfying one. My first build was a stereo aleph X (sounds fantastic but uses too much power to listen to it comfortably, in my opinion) and I built the chassis for the hypex modules.
For the chassis I used a solid piece of aluminum I had lying around (similar to the one I used for the hypex). The front and back I ordered at scheaffer frontplatten (Germany). The input selector and volume control (attenuators relay) are from AliExpress (maybe room for improvement but the build quality is good and they are silent when no music is playing). The power supply is a traco txm-025-124. The volume control, input selector and i/o circuit is powered by a separate ps. Both power supply’s are housed in a chassis separate from the b1-chassis.
I had loads of fun! Thank you all for your wisdom and thanks mr Pass for facilitating a fantastic hobby.
