Hello, this protection connected to the resistor emitter?
I have try to make B50 PCB layout without darlington output transistor. I am used c4793/a1837 as as a driver and to c5200/a1943 as output just like B500. Please check for any error.

I dont know if it will work with 5200/1943 output devices as the gains for BDW devices are very high compare to C5200/A1943.
Also there is much scope to optimize the PCB with regard to traces and component placement. Over the weekend I will try if I can do the layout and share here.

Hi all. I want to do a pair of ax14 amplifier. I think to use MJ15003/MJ15004 for the output,MJE15030/MJE15031 for drivers, and with a supply of +/-35VDC. Is it possible to get 60w/8ohms output?

Hi, in a calculation perspective you gona have 49W@8ohms and 98w@4ohms, but depend the power of your transformer.

It just means that you take your input signal ground wire and connect to power ground, meaning run the ground to the ground of your PSU board. For me, it’s easier anyway because the PSU is usually closer in most of my builds

I think you will be fine. Here is a pic of two of my AX14 on an A/B setup. They are virtually indistinguishable from one another.

Nice pic sir. I Understand the wirings and completed the system semi finally. Amplifier sounding superb and no humming. Thanks to apex audio for the excellent amp design. Now I need to construct the preamplifier. I am using a tone control with TL072 op amp. Thanks to all once again. Here is some pics.
