This PSU with protect can be use for any amplifier, just change 680R/2W resistor to get 24V on relay or 12V for lower rail voltage and 12V reley.

This simple shunt regulator can be use with AX amplifiers for preamp supply. Amp rail voltage can be use for regulator input (without 1N4007 diodes and 4700uF caps).

PCB size: 57 x 72 mm
I've played a bit. A small heatsink connected with thermal adhesive (more for peace of mind;-). Some photos for 20kHz, 10kHz and 1 kHz with signal generator until 30V peak to peak at output. Load resistance and heatsink are good warm (too small).
In each perspective the amplifier operates stable and has a warm and transparent sound.
It is a very nice, cool amplifier - typical apex.
It's fun to build it and you get an impressive sound.
