The ST TIP35C and TIP36C.
...............
What do you think?
Wait, they are not Darlingtons. Would they still work? Specs seem the same.
except for the gain...

When Papa presented this to the community about 5yr ago there was (for some unknown reason) little interest in it.
I asked Didiet78 to lay out a board and he did, it's beautiful and fits the UMS, found here - http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/227503-ab100-class-ab-power-amplifier-3.html#post3497315
And still the community didn't respond with much more than a murmur.
SO, here we are some years later, this is still a really neat design, and would be a great candidate for a diyAudio Store project. I'd be more than willing to do the prototyping and guides if there is interest, may we have a show of hands?

I'm in, these would be perfect for my PCB collection!
Papa is too cheap to use two extra resistors.
LOL.
Degeneration is not the only way to improve the linearity of a long tail pair. It can also be done by increasing the tail current.
From the looks of the current sink transistor choice this might be what's done.
