DHP, well if its the same OHSU, you won't be wearing your summer cloths here, below freezing and snow today.
That's the one and I'm well aware of the snowpocalypse that has struck Portland. 🙂 Certainly will be an adjustment!
Another one coming in - thanks for the effort, guys!

Farnel sell the 823arz for £4.31 + vat and no postage if order is >£30 before VAT.
I placed an order yesterday and have another getting ready for the Frex boards.
My Dig-Key order arrived last week.
The new European distribution depot has solved the double tax and handling fees that crippled Mouser and Digikey orders in the past.

my work on the BOM is going slowly, so I decided to post the work in progress to my ftp.

cheers from the snowpocalypse
(we really do have only 4 snow plows in the city)
Alan
I will update it when I get a chance

updated, source for 4 more pieces of 1R000 Vishay listed, the harder to find value
also added alt R9 part number, see earlier post from EVAL
of course I already ordered my 1ohm R. don't wait for me.

Two CCCS's, sum the currents, convert to voltage, VCVS unity gain buffer, (R1+D1, R2+D2, C) lowpass filter, VCCS output.
The diode-switched resistors in the LPF, give you the wild asymmetry mentioned in the datasheet: Ton=16usec, Toff=472usec.

Did you mean EUVL? 😀
memory fade along with limited time edit options
meant EVUL not EVAL
mouser doesn't stock the S102, but Digikey does, as stated before, not cheap.
will include part numbers for both vendors.

I feel the S102 might be a little overkill. Had my first trip to Portland this year we were very impressed, I want to try the funky Japanese pub with gore porn on the TV monitors.
I had already decided the s102 were too expensive for my pocket money.I feel the S102 might be a little overkill. ..............
I had opted for smd 1206 0.1% 25ppm/C metal film for the 1k & 10k
and 0.5% for the 1r0

Portland is a food town, lots of great choices in all different styles of eating.
When it rains so much, what else are you going to do?

Yes, nothing but one star and five star reviews a magnet for me.
If I've drawn this correctly:
Looks right, just double check the polarity of the feedback and don't forget the cap that set's the dominant pole across R5. I think as drawn if the FET has too much Id the gate is raised in voltage which is backwards. Of course standard notation is backwards in the first place so we have a double negative. 🙂

I will be gone to Mexico for the next two weeks, the BoM posting on my ftp site will be my last for the time being.
have fun, I will.
the byword for traveling in Mexico:
"lets eat again real soon"
Cheers

I think so too, as drawn it's positive feedback.I think as drawn if the FET has too much Id the gate is raised in voltage which is backwards
It also doesn't model the fast-light, slow-quench asymmetry of the photovoltaic magic, but perhaps that's insignificant when C6 is added (usecs versus seconds).
