Some pics of my LM3886 composite amp I finished last year.
.
Hi Pjotr. I just finished electrically a PA03 chipamp. Building an enclosure is my next and final step, apart of replacing the OPA134PA opamps with BursonAudio V5's.
Can you give me a hint where to look for heatpipes. This would reduce the size of the enclosure significntelly!
plz help me with the gain for tda 20 50 r2 and r3 which are used for for increase and decrese for gain what if I increase or decrese the resistor value
LM3886 Stereo Amplifier
Here is a stereo amplifier based on the LM3886 that I completed a couple of weeks ago. There's more information on my website at crosstimbers audio – Crosstimbers Audio
It's the first LM3886 I've built. So far I've been very happy with it.

I got these heat pipes from Farnell (Newark) as straight 6mm x 150mm pipes: SF-06-150-S - EUROPEAN THERMODYNAMICS - Heat Sink, Heat Pipe, Copper, 150 mm, 6 mm | Farnell element14 But those are widely available from Mouser DigiKey etc.
Those 6mm pipes can handle 18 - 20 watts each at room temperature. So for a LM4780 you will need 4 I guess. Be careful, it is not easy stuff to bend/handle. The wall thickness is about 0,2 mm so they dent easily and need special tooling for bending. Best is to get them ready made from the PC modders scene complete with mounting plates.

😀Hello everyone, my first post here. Recently finished lm1875 amp. Some photos. Nothing very fancy, but working pretty nice
The mother of all Gainclones, the 47 Labs Shigaraki Gain card ( 6moons audio reviews: 47 Laboratory Shigaraki System & Konus Audio Essence Speakers - Part II ), was nothing very fancy either. But working (sounding) that pretty nice it is copied over and over and over and over................

Looks nice,Whats the top cover made of wood ? and how to do you attach it ?
Thanks. Heatsinks and wooden front/back are sitting on a steel plate, fixed with screws. Top cover will be steel too.

Stands out by simplicity. Really nice work! I like the way how you implemented "big" characters on the LCD screen.
Top plate finished too.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Poseidon's Voice Modulus 86
Here is my build of Tom Christiansen's Modulus 86 design:
Poseidons Voice Modulus 86 Slideshow by nycavsr2000 | Photobucket
Hope it inspires you all to build some of his designs. In my opinion, he is the consummate engineer for National Semiconductor's Overture amplifier series, as well as an excellent resource and advisor.
Best,
Anand.
PS: Please note that my build varies from his BOM, and is completely unnecessary. Some of the parts I had on hand, and some I chose for "looks." It's an example of what can be done, and NOT of what should be done. Please do not inundate Tom with "parts quality" mental masturbation questions. You can pm me if you like.

Very nice work Anand. I've been following The Mod 86 development, i'd like to build mono block versions at some point (if finances allow and boards still available)

Holy SH%$!! That is absolutely beautiful work.
hey pelayostyle
do you still have a parts list minus the enclosure laying around, I would be great to just have a shopping list and buy everything at once besides the tranny and the enclosure. You have all of this XLRs and Power Female plugs and the amps and control. Plus my enclosure is almost identical to yours, I would really love to built almost a replica of your amp.
Thanks, Lincoln
