may be a daft question, but will you notice the difference between staying 'safely' below 100V with say 90V, and taking the step to 110V ?

+/-110V will give you around 1200W at 4ohm. wich is 1.5db. you will hardly notice it.
exept for some extra headroom. but something tell me you don't need that extra headroom 😀

btw, if anyone are interested in small caps, Nichicon 160V CS series seems pretty tough with 3A ripple for a cap size of 18 x 32mm (330uf)
and I have found a 3300uf 100V Epcos, at 15EUR (ø35 x 80mm)
due to space limits, and keeping a low budget, I go for good ripple current rather than large capacity

thanks before his designs are very nice and thank you to Mister Mile, if I may suggest for psu pcb design is also one that uses diodes as in the picture, because we were mostly diodes in place as shown.
