some questions arise while looking at your stunning amp:
Were the coils treated after the wiring pls? Dipped in some kind of varnish maybe? Epoxy?
Apart from the ties to secure them in place, is it nylon wire wrapped around them?

Yes, U are right. The coils are treated before wiring with varnish, two times. They are secured with regular nylon cable ties.
