There mine!
They have evolved into these;
Better sound, but not as much WAF, in fact she hates them now!
I'm going to post details in the full range forum, as i need help tuning them.
Cheers

I hear you!I used some nice quality fabric and just stapled it on the rear of the baffle and pulled it taught. My wife helped me, i think that's why she hates the replacements 😉How was the flowers done?
My wife hates my current OB's. 5' x 2'

This is my approach to the subject: Hemp 8" in an OB.
sub frequencies are achieved with a Rel Quake.View attachment 219964

Very nice & simple, I like it 🙂
I put two pictures in the first post (24th April). You can see in one of the pictures the REL placed behind the left pannel (now it is placed behind the right pannel - better results). REL is set with half volume and roll-off is around 50-60 Hz.
here is the tang band w8-1808 in an open baffle............

I've been looking at this for a simple OB build. How is the highs??
Intelligibility is great.
1808 highs seem fine, but watch on the freq graph for +5db from 1.5khz to 3.5khz. That "presence" region is a bit hot.
I can't understand why no one has mentioned it before.

I am very satisfied with mine. I didnt use filter at all, only a little toe in. Now i will build a OB to them with Tang Band ribbon tweeter on top and 2 x Eminence 15A in the bottom driven by Hypex sub amps.
PS, Klipsch is hotter in the presence area than theese Tang Bands.
Hans Erik
Yup, they are just a little hot for me, not that my ears are more correct than anyone elses. On my 10 band eq, the 1khz setting at 0db, the 2khz setting at -9db, 4khz at 0db. The q of the bands is usually wide on cheapie equalizers.
Soon I'll be doing something for the bass. Currently I'm not thrilled, but it is performing exactly as designed (open baffle that has an Feq around 180hz with superior intelligibility).

Yes. From what is being said, they are not standard "26LROY" and will be available in 3-4months time.
