I bought this Marantz Tuner. I had a Luxman tuner I was quite fond of but it developed a problem with the IF stage after we had an electrical event. THe repair is over my head and I cannot find anyone local to do it. I'd like to get it fixed one day, but I needed a new tuner in the mean time. I bought a Dynaco FM5 and it was just ok but a big step down from the Luxman. I replaced it with this Marantz 115b. My initial impressions are mixed, but it sure looks nice and is an improvement over the Dynaco. The box below it is the AKSA SS amp I built almost 20 years ago.
