Are there any JFETS that handle high voltage and could be used with more conventional tubes in the same circuit?
2Sk223 80V, 2SK373 100V, NOS.

Are all these pcbs going in the same group buy thread?
Sorry @2 picodumbs, no, then I don´t want to be insulted again: you´ve to wait availability in the DIYstore.
JP
The haters will eventually appreciate what you are doing.
In the past it was considered good etiquette to request Nelson's permission to create pcbs for obsolete firstwatt products.
That seems to have gone out the window. I don't remember the last time someone publicly asked Papa for permission to do a pcb for one of his old circuits.
2Pico this is a new product !
I know, but is it intended as a diy project or firstwatt product?
There are plenty of people doing pcbs of stuff that is available in the diyaudio store eg teabag etc.
If someone enjoys doing original artwork and is actually good at it, I certainly don't have a problem, especially if it means I don't have to do it.
At this point in time nothing is really clear as to what will or won't be available in the diyaudio store.
After the video with NP from BAF I think a lot about B1 Triode.
Started step by step collecting all parts for this preamplifier.
Questions: what is correct jfets Idss value?
I get 2SK170 Toshiba who is just a bigger dissipation version of 2SK370
2SK170's are fine. it's a bit like the DCB1 all the buffer stages, so 7 a 8 mA Idss, I guess, where the upper and lower JFETS needs to be matched. But there's also capacitor coupling so the matching doesn't have to be close.

Dave, follow the link below. It contains Nelson's view on that matter.

Well that covers it then. As long as it's not a current firstwatt product, jps is free to do what ever he pleases (all of his artwork is original).
Further, nobody needs my blessing if they are simply conducting a DIY
group buy with their own artwork which does not carry our registered
trademarks.
Lastly, Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday you enjoy).
